How to get Bromeliad in Windrose
Here's where you'll find Bromeliad plants and how to use them in Windrose.
The Bromeliad in Windrose is a plant that is used for crafting strong, long-lasting Elixirs that'll help you with boss fights or particularly troubling enemies such as Plague Crushers. It's also handy to have the damage boost when it comes to farming these enemies for their drops, such as Quagmire Powder. In my experience though, finding Bromeliad is hard work.
With that said, here's how to get Bromeliad in Windrose.

How to get Bromeliad in Windrose
Bromeliad is found in the plagued portions of the Cursed Swamps region in Windrose. These are the areas surrounded by red/pink trees that'll build up a rot/poison status effect on you.
Whenever you do run into a Bromeliad, which looks like a small red leafy plant, simply interact with it to harvest it. With some luck, you may also get some Bromeliad Seeds which can be used with a Seedbed to plant your own Bromeliad back at your base. You simply need the Seeds and some Fertile Soil to get started.
If you're yet to reach the Cursed Swamps, you'll need to complete the 'Needle in a Haystack' Main Quest, as the first objective for the quest after this takes you straight to the region. That said, the area has a recommended level of Level 13 and its enemies are no joke, so make sure you're prepared before you go hunting for Bromeliad.
It's also worth noting that despite hours of searching, I did not find any Bromeliad on the first Cursed Swamps island you're sent to as part of the 'Forgotten Relics' Main Quest. Instead, I had to go sailing in search of another Cursed Swamps island that had an infected zone. It was my third Cursed Swamps island – which featured eight different POIs! – where I finally found some. This particular island was covered in plagued zones, so I was able to find quite a bit of it at once too.
How to use Bromeliad in Windrose
Bromeliad is an important alchemical ingredient and discovering it unlocks the Distiller recipe (an upgrade for your Alchemy Table) in your Building Panel menu. The plant itself is combined with Potions and Tears of Sorrow to create the following Elixirs:
- Infused Elixir of Firm Hand - Increases Melee Damage by 13% for 30 minutes.
- Infused Elixir of Precision - Increases Ranged Damage by 13% for 30 minutes.
- Infused Elixir of Concentration - Increases Critical Damage by 30% for 30 minutes.
- Infused Elixir of Cruelty - Increases Damage by 8% for 30 minutes.
As you can no doubt see, these are powerful and long-lasting Elixirs that'll not only come in handy for questing, but for farming all the Plagued enemies you'll need to gather an abundance of Quagmire Powder and so forth.
