Mire Metal in Windrose is the third type of ingot that you'll find yourself in need of after discovering the likes of Copper Ingots and Iron Ingots. As a result, this particular metal and the components required to craft it are found in the perilous area that is the Cursed Swamps region.

Below, I've explained exactly how to get Mire Metal in Windrose so that you can quickly go about gathering and smelting it.

How to get Mire Metal in Windrose

To line your pockets with Mire Metal in Windrose, you need to go mining for Ancient Scraps and searching for Quagmire Powder. These two resources in combination can be placed into a Large Smelting Furnace and eventually smelted into Mire Metal.

In total, you'll need two Ancient Scraps and one Quagmire Powder for one piece of Mire Metal. And if you don't yet have a Large Smelting Furnace, you'll need 20 Hewn Stone, 10 Iron Ingots, and 20 Clay to build that using your Building Panel menu too.

Both Ancient Scraps and Quagmire Powder are exclusive to the Cursed Swamps region, which you'll be directed to after completing the 'Needle in a Haystack' Main Quest.

If you don't have any Quagmire Powder yet, take a look at my guide on how to get Quagmire Powder.

As for Ancient Scraps, you can mine these from the quarry POIs – which are marked with a pickaxe icon once you get close – across any Cursed Swamps island (pictured below). There's also a chance you might find Ancient Scraps among unmarked ruins in the Cursed Swamps region (also shown below).

Just be careful of the Cursed Swamps' quarries. In my experience, the first one I found was surrounded by both a rot/poison status effect and lots of Level 12+ Plague Thrall enemies.
