Kelsey's (she/they) passion for gaming lies with scoping out scares in horror games and admiring - or shouting about - the most grotesque of bosses in Soulslikes. When they're not commiserating the cancelation of Silent Hills or accidentally breaking controllers (they've gone through two while playing Nightreign), they can be found fawning over cute Pokemon, Kirby, or being very average at first-person shooters.

Otherwise, Kelsey's a fan of anything horror or sci-fi, as well as visual novels, RPGs, roguelikes, simulation games (especially if they include fishing), and card games such as Magic the Gathering. They love a challenge, but they like a cozy game to unwind with too.

Outside of work and when they're not gaming, Kelsey can often be found reading horror, crime, and mystery novels, learning about bugs (the literal kind), or playing Dungeons and Dragons. They've been in games media for five years - almost four of those at sister-site VG247 - and received the MCV Develop 30 under 30 award in 2024.
