Walkthrough for the side quest Wine Wars: Belgaard (L37) from The Witcher 3's second DLC expansion, Blood and Wine

You can pick up this quest from the message board at the Cockatrice Inn. If you haven't found the Plegmund's Bridge travel marker, you will as you approach the quest marker.

A scene starts where Liam de Coronata and Matilda of Vermentino are both trying to buy the Belgaard vineyard. The Ducal Clerk won't sell it to either of them because their own vineyards have problems.

During the scene you have a conversation with Liam. Accept his request for help to get the level 37 side quest Wine Wars: Coronata.

You also speak with Matilda. Accept her offer to get the level 37 side quest Wine Wars: Vermentino.

Each quest has five problems for you to solve.

Options include:

• Accept only Liam's offer
• Accept only Matilda's offer
• Accept neither offer

If you accept both quests now then you can negotiate the gold reward for each. Regardless of your choice this quest is completed (no reward).

Even if you don't want to haggle, be sure to ask about pay. The haggle starting point is 700 gold but if you don't ask then it will default to 525.

If you don't accept either quest then this one ends and you can't pursue the other quests in the series, even if you stumble onto the objectives that are part of them.
