This page contains the walkthrough for Equine Phantoms, a side quest in The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine.

You can start this quest by talking to a Pinastri. She can be found northeast of Dun Tynne Crossroads, northwest of Basane Farm signpost, southeast of Trading Post signpost, and far east of Coronata Vineyard.

Head to the location and talk to Pinastri to start the quest. After accepting the quest, use Witcher Senses to examine the area. You'll find some dead moths around the outside of the house. Inside the house you'll find a note and some graytop on the table.

On the bed you'll find a pillow with blood drops on it leading to the window. Next, examine the near window, then go outside and use Witcher Senses to follow the trail of blood.

When you find the end of the blood trail, head back and talk to Pinastri for more information. Pinastri will give you the graytop hallucinogen potion.

After drinking the potion, examine the area again with Roach. Examine the areas he walks, and the moths again. Once the areas are examined, the ghost horse appears.

Hop on Roach and follow it. When it arrives at a graveyard, some ghost panthers will appear. Kill them, then examine the gravestone with the sword on top of it.

A knight will appear, and you will have the option of killing or curing him. If you choose to cure him, you won't have to fight him!

After the cutscene, the game takes you back to Pinastri and after talking with her the quest will be complete.
