Walkthrough

This page contains the walkthrough for Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Wolven Gear, a side quest in The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine.

You can pick up this side quest from the grandmaster smith Lafargue, who you'll meet him at the start of side quest Master Master Master Master!.

Once you have the quest, head to the first location which is a campsite, east of Gelenser Farm signpost and northeast of Trastamara Hunting Cottage signpost.

At the campsite, loot a small chest to find a journal entry. Read the journal entry and it will lead you north to the nearby ruins.

On your way north you may encounter a new marker with an entrance to a cave, this will lead to a Place of Power (Quen). If you want to find it, jump up a platform with a small waterfall and, behind it you'll find a wall that you can break with Aard to reveal the Place of Power.

Continue north and when you get to the ruins, you'll find a purple portal. To unlock the portal, you'll find a Purple Ruby just in the open area infront of it.

In the next area, you'll encounter some Wraiths and Barghests. After killing them, you'll find the door to the right is locked, so head left. At the end of the hall there will be a wall that you can break down with Aard sign.

The next are you'll come across a Giant Centipede. After killing it carry onwards and there will be a platform that you can jump up, and another wall that you need to break with Aard sign.

Head forward and jump down and you'll come across more Wraiths and Barghests. After killing them you'll find three sets of plans in a satchel in the western room, and the other three from some bones in the eastern room.

Exit the area by looting the key that is just infront of the locked door, and using that to open the door.
