  • Bareknuckle - On Melee Hit, consumes an armor segment to grant increased melee damage. When armor shield is empty grants increased melee damage.

The Heavyweight is a Legendary Armor Shield in Borderlands 4.

Legendary Gear items are special drops, usually from boss creatures or hard to reach places, which can dramatically impact your hunter and how they perform. Most Legendary items have unique special abilities, and will generally have a range of stat and part bonuses. 

Shields provide an extra layer of protection to characters. Any incoming damage will usually be absorbed by a shield if equipped. These usually have a limited charge, and require time to recover once sufficient damage has been negated/absorbed.

How to get the Heavyweight

The Heavyweight can be acquired from the following:

  • Terminus Range, Windspear, Lictor's Black Site

If applicable, it can also drop from the following boss: 

  • Vile Prototype

Requires the player to complete: Dark Subject (Story Mission)
