How to get Reset Items and Respec in Control Resonant
How to respec and change weapons.
Knowing how to respec in Control Resonant is perfect for whenever you want to change up your build. It's also quite handy if you ever realise you've made a mistake when it comes to either an upgrade or Talent choice. Though, it's worth noting that you can change your weapon form - be it Primary, Secondary or Combo Finisher - whenever you like without having to do a full rework of your build. (As long as you've unlocked them of course.)

How to respec in Control Resonant
To respec in Control Resonant, you first need a Reset Item. This can either be earned by completing certain missions, typically main ones, or purchased from a vendor. It's important to note that one Reset Item can only reset one of the three possible things you can respec.
Here's what you can respec:
- All Aberrant upgrades, including Primary Forms, Secondary Forms and Combo Finishers
- Talents
- Combat Abilities
To perform the respec, you need to visit the gap and then select the menu for what you wish to respec there. Once you're on that menu, press the 'Reset All' option and you'll now be free to change this part of your build.
It's worth noting, however, that changing your weapon form is a little different to respecing and doesn't require resetting all of your upgrades and Talent Points.
How to change weapon forms in Control Resonant
To change weapon forms for either your Primary, Secondary or Combo Finisher choice in Control Resonant, you first need to ensure you've actually unlocked an alternative to the one you originally selected. You can do this by crafting the necessary crafting materials and then visiting the Gap where you can use the upgrade tree to unlock what you desire.
After that, the process is very simple. Just open the main menu, select the 'Loadout' menu and then whichever weapon form you use to change. Doing so will bring you to a separate menu where you can switch between the weapon forms you've unlocked. You'll also be able to see the stats for each form and how many upgrades you've unlocked for each one.
Again, changing your weapon form is not the same as respecing in Control Resonant. Respecing allows you to rework your build in the terms of Talent Point, Ability selection and which upgrades you've performed, while changing your weapon form allows you to change your main form of combat on the fly which is very useful for bosses.
