Control Resonant laundromat puzzle solution
To solve the laundromat puzzle in Control Resonant, you need to ensure the turned on washing machines match the pattern in the laundry puzzle pinned to the wall. '1' means the washing machine needs to be on, '0' means the washing machine needs to be off.
Before I get to the puzzle solution, there's two important things you need to know. Firstly, you can only turn on / off machines that don't have an 'Out of Order' sign on them, which definitely makes things easier. Secondly, the below instructions described the locations of the washing machines going left to right as if you're standing looking at the machines from the laundry's front door. If you ever get stuck, stand in that position and you'll easily figure out which machine is next on your list.
With that all in mind, here's how to solve the laundromat puzzle in Control Resonant:
- First, turn on the middle machine on the row found on the far left-hand side of the room.
- On the left-hand side of the left middle block of machines, turn on the two washing machines standing next to each other. Both of these machines can be found in the middle of the row.
- Turn on the two machines at opposite ends on the right-hand side of the same block of machine as above.
- Now turn off the machine on the left-hand side of the right-hand block of washing machines found in the middle of the room.
- Next, face the washing machine standing against the right-hand wall of the room. You'll see that the rows here have a small divide between them. Here you need to turn off the machine on the left-hand block.
- Next, go to the row of washing machines on the far right-hand side of the room. Here you need to turn on the machine found at the left-hand end of said row.
- Finally, turn on the washing machine on the right-hand block.
Remember, the above instructions describe the washing machines going from left to right from the position of looking into the laundry from its front door. If the hideout hasn't opened itself up for you, check to see if you've missed turning off a washing machine.
If you'd like a visual aid, the following screenshot contain all of the washing machines you need to turn either on or off in the order matching the above instructions:
With the puzzle solved, the door to the secret hideout will be opened! Head down into the laundry's depths to find a Health Upgrade Point and some collectibles left behind by the hideouts owners.
Control Resonant laundry location
The laundry is located in the north-eastern section of Central, which is accessed by going through the building directly to the right of the Field Office. You'll find the building itself sitting between the East Park Station and Perimeter Station, directly opposite the basketball courts in this area. One way to find it is to fast travel to the 'Central Frontline' and go south.
It will be hard to miss the laundry too, because the first time you arrive it will be blocked by a Hiss barrier. Follow the red lines leading from this barrier to find the Hiss Nodes you need to destroy to open up the laundry.
