The Convergence is a Legendary Shotgun in Borderlands 4.
Legendary Gear items are special drops, usually from boss creatures or hard to reach places, which can dramatically impact your hunter and how they perform. Most Legendary items have unique special abilities, and will generally have a range of stat and part bonuses.
While they have low accuracy, and small magazines, Shotguns more than make up for their shortcomings with high damage, especially at close range. Typically they come in two flavours. Combat Shotguns for higher firepower but lower rates of fire, and Assault shotguns for better accuracy and quicker firing capability.
