Nioh 3 has multiple systems and currencies to be aware of, and Glory is one of them. Glory is intrinsically tied to any cooperative efforts in the RPG, and if you've found yourself with an abundance of Glory but aren't yet sure how to use it, you're in the right place.

Glory is something you can earn right away in Nioh 3, but the ability to actually use it – and spend it – isn't unlocked until much later in your playthrough. Here's exactly what Glory is in Nioh 3, including how to use Glory and how to get more Glory.

How to use Glory in Nioh 3

Glory is one of many Nioh 3 currencies, and it can be spent at the Hidden Teahouse in the Eternal Rift. This Merchant, Matsunaga Hisahide, only becomes available after you have completed the region of the Warring States and moved on to the snowy region of Heian.

At the Hidden Teahouse, you can spend any Glory acquired on a range of things, such as new weapons, consumable items, emotes, and character skins (which allow you to turn into NPCs you've met and bosses you've faced). To apply these skins, take a look at how to change your appearance in-game.

Glory is also tied to Nioh 3's Clan system, which you'll be introduced to during your first visit to the Hidden Teahouse. Clans, when you join one, allow you to receive various buffs, and any Glory earned while part of a Clan will go towards two things: increasing your position within that Clan, and increasing the Clan's chances of winning its ongoing battle.

How to get more Glory in Nioh 3

You'll find yourself acquiring Glory whenever you defeat a Revenant – a phantom summoned from one of the bloody red graves – in Nioh 3. That said, you'll also earn it if you place your own Acolyte grave – where a helpful, blue phantom can be summoned – and other players use it.

Similarly, you'll earn Glory when using the 'Become A Visitor' option during co-op, with you being rewarded for your efforts helping other players.

That's all for Glory. For more on Nioh 3, take a look at where to use Yokai Teardrops, where to get more Ochoko Cups, and the best Skills to equip.
