Where To Find Compass, Tape, And Rations In Broken Monument In Arc Raiders

As you progress through the different quests in Arc Raiders, you'll get more familiarized with each trader and they'll start giving you some difficult quests. These quests can sometimes involve going to a specific area, getting a specific loot, and extracting with it in the same run.

The Broken Monument is one such example of these types of quests. In this one, you have to find a first wave compass, tape recorder, and rations in the Scrap Yard area of the Dam Battlegrounds. These can be a little difficult to find, and here are all the locations you need to visit for them.

Where To Find First Wave Compass

The first wave compass will likely be the hardest thing to find in this quest since the instructions for this are quite unclear. Before getting any items for the Broken Monument quest, you'll first have to make your way to the Scrap Yard, which can be seen to the south of the Research & Administration building in Dam Battlegrounds once you zoom in on the map.

Once you're at the Scrap Yard, you need to look for some broken-down vehicles, though this doesn't refer to normal cars. Instead, you're looking for big metal chunks with wheels, which you can find just below where Scrap is written on the map. Once you reach these, you can find the box with a compass between one of these vehicles and some other containers.

The box will have a yellow interaction point once you get close to it.

Once you search for any items for this quest in the boxes, make sure to pick them up after, as they don't automatically go to your inventory.

Where To Find First Wave Tape

The second item you need for the Broken Monument quest is the First Wave Tape, which is much easier to find. To get this, head to the part between the written Scrap Yard and its loot icons on the map. You'll see some silver-colored cylindrical tubes here.

Go beside the tube that's not fully resting on the ground and you can find the box with the yellow interaction for the tape.

Where To Find First Wave Rations

The final requirement for this quest is the first wave rations, which will be a little farther away from the Scrap Yard. On your map, move directly north of where Scrap Yard is written on the map and you'll see a big tube-like structure, which is the raider shack that you're looking for.

Enter this shack and you can find the yellow interaction box for the rations inside. Once you get all three items for the Broken Monument quest, you have to extract with them to finish it. If you lose or drop any of these items, you'll have to do the quest all over again.
