Nameless is a main quest in The Witcher 3 that takes place in the Skellige area. This quest ties right into Missing Persons and The Calm Before the Storm, and sees Yennifer and Geralt continuing their search for Ciri.

The video walkthrough addresses all three quests as if they were one. This series of quests starts immediately after “Echoes of the Past.”

Nameless Walkthrough

When you arrive at the garden, Morkvarg can be seen beyond the gate. He runs off though and you do not have to see him for the remainder of the quest. Follow Yennefer up the stairs and to the middle of the garden with a big tree. Use your Witcher Senses to investigate around the tree. There are blood stains, an altar, and a hole by the roots. Check it all out and then head southeast into the lower ring of the garden.

You can follow Craven’s footsteps down into the lower part. There are some wolves down below, but they are easy to kill. Walk around the ring in a clockwise direction, following the footprints. Yennefer and Geralt will talk for a brief moment. Continue following the blood to a door with large scratch marks. It won’t open, so you need to find another way around the garden.

Climb the wall nearby, back to the upper level. You will see a big house to the left. Walk past it and to the left. You should see a small shed and a river and dam. There is a bridge that crosses the water. Go across and climb the ladder. Up top is a switch mechanism to lift and shut gates to control the water level. Flip the right-hand lever once and then the left. The middle gate will slide up. Jump in the water and swim across. Climb the ledge and go left. There will be a large tree over a well.

Note: There is a shed nearby, when you swim through the gate. Inside is Morkvarg. You may fight him and hear his tale. This does pertain to the side quest “In Wolf's Clothing” and is not necessary for this main quest.

Climb down into the well to find Craven, or rather, what’s left of him. Geralt will yell up to Yennefer. She requests that you bring the body up for her. One transition later and Yennefer is using necromancy to bring the body back to ask him some questions. This is where “The Calm Before the Storm” begins. After the flashback, you will end up back in the garden with Yennefer and Geralt.

Back in the garden, Yennefer used quite a bit of magic from the garden. The locals are furious and despise her. The two of you do conclude that Ciri is no longer in Skellige and that the ugly creature named Uma is somehow involved. You may remember Uma from the Bloody Baron’s keep. It’s time to track that thing down.
