Destination: Skellige is a main quest that starts in Novigrad, but ends in Skellige. You may start this quest anytime after “Imperial Audience.” It is suggested that you be at least level 17 before starting the quest.

As the quest begins, you will need a minimum of 1,000 crowns (don’t worry though, you'll get them all back). When you are all set for the journey to Skellige, head to the docks in Novigrad to find a ship to take you there. There are three ships marked on your mini-map. Go to all three to find a lady captain who won’t risk the journey, a ship with a missing (probably drunk) captain, and another who suggest to find the drunk to take you. With the drunk captain as your only lead, follow the mini-map to the Golden Sturgeon to find our captain.

No surprise that he is at the bar. Head inside and make a right. Captain Wolverstone is his name and sailing to Skellige is his game. For the hefty price of 1,000 crowns. Pay the man and board his ship the Atropos. Geralt will go to sleep, only to be woken up by pirates! Fight them on the main deck. Parry and use Aard to take care of them quickly. When the ship crashes, Geralt will wake up on the beach. A man named Stiengrim nearby is poking around to salvage the wreck.

You’ll wake up and ask Steingrim if he has seen Yennefer. If you are nice to him in conversation, he will point you in the right direction. Take offense to his comment on Yen or be rude to him and a fistfight will happen. If you pull out your sword, he will call his wolf in to attack. Interact with Stiengrim as you wish, then check out the wreckage.

Out in the water, you should see a glowing green rock. Walk out to it to find a Place of Power. Draw power from it to boost Axii for 30 minutes and to gain an ability point. There are two ships near the shore; one in the water a bit and another up on the beach. Go behind the ship on the shore to find the dead body of Captain Wolverstone. Inspect his body to find your 1,000 crowns. With money in hand, you may look around the beach some more or hop on Roach and ride toward Yennefer.

Note: There is a monster nest on the wrecked ship in the water. It is home to Sirens. You can try to destroy it if you wish. Use arrows or Aard to bring them down from the air.

When you arrive at Kaer Tolde, go to the harbor to see the funeral for King Bran or Clan Tuirseach and finally meet up with Yennefer. Flirt or chat with her as you wish. The two of you will catch up after the ceremony. You can fill her in on your journey through Velen and Novigrad. You both agree to go to the wake together. Yennefer requests you change into a proper outfit. She hands over the key to her house and tells you to meet her outside the gates.

The quest will now conclude. Welcome to Skellige!
