Black Ops viral website, GKNOVA 6 has been updated to show tons of footage of ravaging CoD zombies, including scientist zombies, office worker zombies and 28 Days Later-style fast zombies. We can't wait.
Yesterday BradyGames, maker of the game's official strategy guide, accidentally outed Black Ops' Zombie mode in a press release
BradyGames' guide is said to offer "a complete walkthrough to the gritty Cold War-era Campaign mode, tips and tricks to rank up in Multiplayer, how to excel in Co-Op, or fight back the relentless Nazi Zombie horde".
Treyarch boss Mark Lamia has since spoken about the evolution of CoD: World At War's undead - and it sounds like a few surprises are in store.
"We continued to evolve [Nazi Zombies] after World At War - there was a dialogue going on with some of our hardcore community, and we were able to interact with the community and evolve - we did that with our zombie lore," he told the new Edge Magazine.
In addition Treyarch has teased that a possible trailer for Zombie Mode might be coming in the near future.

Maybe Russian Zombies, but for nazi zombies to return in the cold war era.. makes me laugh, recycled nontheless.

| I'm glad zombies is returning. There was a story behind zombies in cod5(the zombies were created). i think that in black ops the soviets continued the research of the german doctor and ended up creating more zombies. | |
| Treyarch have had 3 separate teams working on each aspect of this game (single player, Multiplayer and coop).
I think Zombies will be a huge part of the game wouldn�t even surprise me if it ties in the single player.
That gknova site has been around for ages showing creepy pictures on the official forums some guys have been taking screen shots each time it has been updated. Only this update has actually show zombies.
Treyarch have got a big viral campaign going on if you�d like to follow it that�s what makes me believe the zombie story will be a huge part of the game.
They even did a live drop where one of the community ended up being given a breif case in a hotel by a strange man. The case contained a camera with a pic of a dead body and a phone number which people have called and had a few strange conversations with possibly a spy and few other clues about the gknova project. GK is German Knowledge cant remember what the nova part is.
Look it up if your into conspiracy theories.
Really looking forward to playing the zombies again and finding out about the story, I used to love reading about the story from the W@W maps, they had a load of clues dotted about each map if you cared to find them. | |

Personally, i hope it doesnt tie into the singleplayer. I would like singleplayer to try and be more serious (MW2 was too over the top though  ) the co-op to be extra + fun, and multiplayer online to do its job of providing a good online mode  | |
