A new Rockstar Games job listing for a temporary production artist has been spotted on LinkedIn, and it hints that marketing for Grand Theft Auto 6 is already underway.

For a while now, we've known that Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive plan on starting GTA 6's marketing in earnest at some point this Summer. Now that we're in May and that vague timeline is drawing closer and closer, everyone is waiting for any kind of update on GTA 6 before it (hopefully) releases at the end of the year.

Since it's been confirmed that GTA 6's marketing is going to start in the Summer, it's pretty obvious that Rockstar and Take-Two are already well into planning the game's undoubtedly massive advertising plans. It looks like they might even be in the final stretch, as a new job listing is calling for temporary help with a "global campaign".

Rockstar Job Listing Hints At GTA 6 Marketing Plans

The Listing Doesn't Mention GTA 6 By Name, But What Else Is It Going To Be?

As pointed out by Twitter user project_vice and originally reported by Portal Viciados, a new job listing for a temporary production artist at Rockstar Games' New York branch has recently been shared by the studio on LinkedIn. The listing notes that the role is "critical in bringing our creative vision to life across a wide range of global campaigns".

Although it's already noteworthy to see Rockstar hiring for a position this close to GTA 6's release, the role's responsibilities are where things get interesting. The production artist will be responsible for producing "creative assets" across multiple formats, including digital advertising, social media content, and even print production through 'packaging, retail, and promotional materials".

The production artist role may be temporary, but it seems like the work will be flowing for a bit, as the responsibilities mention supporting "live-service publishing needs" including ongoing updates and "time-sensitive content drops".

Considering the role is a temporary one, it suggests that Rockstar Games needs a little bit more help to get GTA 6's marketing off the ground before it goes live. This suggests that all of the work mentioned above and in the job listing has already started to some degree, which makes sense since the plan is for marketing to begin this Summer.
