Recently, there's been a lot of chatter about whether Fortnite Crew, the monthly subscription for the title, was worth the squeeze, particularly as V-Bucks have been hit with price hikes and the overall malaise surrounding the free-to-play live-service title.

As my colleague Josh Coulson wrote back in April:

A Fortnite season typically lasts around three months. That means $36 in subscription fees, and you're getting pretty much the same amount back. 800 V-Bucks per month, which now costs $8.99, along with the 800 V-Buck Battle Pass. So, unless my math is off or something changes between now and June 6, you will no longer be saving money by subscribing to Fortnite Crew.

However, it appears that some sort of reprieve is coming that will make the overall subscription a bit more worth it, depending on your current hobbies, as Disney+, another subscription, will seemingly be integrated in some way.

Fortnite has embraced Italian Brainrot in a way no video game has before.

As first shared by noted Fortnite insider HypeX on Twitter, a code string found within the title's files points to some sort of integration with Disney+.

Many think this could be some sort of add-on subscription that users would have access to, as part of their overall monthly fee.

Xbox Game Pass Subscribers Stand To Benefit The Most

As it stands, a Disney+ subscription is $11.99, which includes advertisements. It's entirely possible that whatever is included in Fortnite Crew would probably lack Hulu, and be pared down. There's also the possibility that the integration is in the form of some skin or other in-game item rather than access to Disney's library.

Whatever the case might be, the users that stand to benefit the most are Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members, as they have Fortnite Crew bundled in with their subscription. Any integration would make Game Pass Ultimate, which has struggled with the value-add aspect, that much more appealing.

Bear in mind that Disney and Epic Games have a massive partnership, so all of this could be part of their larger plans. With Summer Game Fest around the corner, it stands to reason we probably won't have to wait long one way or the other.
