For me, the best story in the series. Dark atmosphere. Great music. In terms of atmosphere, design, and story, it's the best. As for gameplay, I expected it to be better than it was, but this part offered many of the things that were the reason for the success of subsequent games.

"Tekken 4" is a solid sequel that holds up quite well. The fighting mechanics were overhauled and the graphics were improved. This PS2 port also includes "Tekken Force", a beat 'em up, and two fighters not featured in the arcade. It also has a Story and Practice modes not found in the previous games. "Tekken 4" isn't a huge improvement over "Tekken 3", but it's a worth entry in the series. I would rate it with an 8.2 out of 10.

Sure, the great graphics and sound and the bonus Tekken Force mode are all good selling points, but the biggest reason to pick up Tekken 4 is that the gameplay not only lives up to the fine presentation; it surpasses it. [Import]

I love this game so much and i rated this game 9.9/10.This game has all my favourite characters,moves,stages and combos.I really like the graphics,the storyline and the challenges.I am a huge fan of Tekken and this game is amazing to play at home.

This ain’t a bad Tekken game,It’s a special one of course it has it’s weird systems. But The style is really appealing the story is very good and the characters have their own big story to tell too. The music slaps hard the stages are really nice and different overall stop **** about this one It’s not as bad as you think

It's not one of the best but for fun. the background music in all stages is horrible none of it pleases me and heihashi looks like a sumo wrestler. lol
