Lior Div posted thisSecurity has always been an unfair fight. The attacker has to be right once. The defender has to be right every time. For twenty years, every tool we built tried to close that gap and mostly didn't. Not because the tools were bad, but because defense ran on human hours and attackers only needed a single opening. You can't out-staff an asymmetry like that. AI actually changes the math. Defense that operates at the same speed and scale as the offense. Investigations that don't wait for a human to reach them. For the first time, the asymmetry can run the other way. The question isn't whether AI belongs in defense. It's whether we'll move fast enough to use it before the attackers do. #cybersecurity #AI #agenticsecurity

Lior Div posted thisFor twenty years, security has run on one assumption: to get value from your data, first you have to move all of it into one place. That assumption is breaking. Centralization was never a security strategy. It was a storage tax. You pay to move every log into one system, and the bill scales with volume while the security value doesn't. A million raw network events don't add up to one high-fidelity endpoint finding. The reversal is simple: leave the data where it is, and bring the intelligence to it. Endpoint, cloud, data lake, the SIEM you already run. One logical security layer, not one giant bucket. Stop optimizing for how much data you can gather. Start optimizing for how well you can reason over it. #cybersecurity #AI #SIEM

Lior Div shared thisWayman Cummings from Ochsner Health wrote for our blog about what has to be true before he'll let an agent run on its own in a health system. Two things. The instruction needs real threat intel behind it and a clear read on their own risk. That comes from his team. The agent needs to be built for one job, with its limits set before it runs, not while it's running. You need both. A good instruction given to an agent that can reach everything is dangerous. A well-built agent given a vague objective is useless. His team stays on the loop, not in it. https://hubs.la/Q04vmNJd0 #cybersecurity #agenticsecurity

Lior Div shared thisFast Company asked 23 leaders what shift they see coming in the next five years. Mine was simple: defense catching up. Attackers put AI to work first. They're operating at a speed and scale no human team can match. The shift is machines taking the grunt work (correlation, evidence gathering, triage) and finishing it in seconds, while people stay on the loop for the decisions that actually require judgement. It's an arms race now. The teams that win it are the ones who stop spending human hours on non-human work. Read the full article: https://hubs.la/Q04txTJ70 #cybersecurity #agenticsecurity

Lior Div shared thisFor decades, R&D was a defensive function locked behind roadmaps, sign-offs, and quarterly reviews. That model isn't competitive against AI-native competitors. I wrote about it for Fast Company: speed isn't just an engineering metric anymore. It's how you read the market before the market explains itself. The teams that close the gap between a customer conversation and a product outcome in days, not quarters, set the pace. Read more here: https://hubs.la/Q04txfYF0 #cybersecurity #agenticsecurity

Lior Div shared thisOpenAI published "The Defender's Window" yesterday. Their case: AI can automate real parts of an attack now, open weight models with the same capabilities are months behind, and defenders have a limited window to get ahead. In July, OpenAI's own agents broke out of an evaluation sandbox and reached Hugging Face's production infrastructure. OpenAI caught it and disclosed it. The strongest warning ever issued about AI-powered attacks came from the company whose own agents carried one out. The debate over whether this technology is ready for security operations just ended, settled from both directions at once. The parity window was the opportunity. The defender's window is the deadline. OpenAI didn't open the defender's window. It put a timer on it. https://hubs.la/Q04tnxsl0 #cybersecurity #agenticsecurity

Lior Div liked thisLior Div liked this7AI has tapped Joe Lucarelli as Regional Vice President, Northeast, adding an experienced cybersecurity and cloud sales leader as the company expands its team and channel relationships. Lucarelli comes from Palo Alto Networks, where he most recently served as Sales Leader, Next Generation Security (NGS), NAM Strategics East, after previously leading NGS Enterprise sales. His earlier leadership experience includes nearly two years at Innovative Solutions and more than three years as a Sales Leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he led a team responsible for growth and cloud adoption across customers and partners. In announcing the move, Lucarelli put particular emphasis on 7AI’s channel investment and building partnerships, while also signaling that he is growing his Northeast team. He also thanked Lior Div, Aaron Cote, and Brian McDonough for the opportunity to join 7AI. Congratulations to Joe on taking the Regional Vice President, Northeast role and beginning this new chapter! Lior Div liked thisLior Div liked thisWhat does agentic security look like at global scale? Ask DXC Technology. Across 25 delivery centers processing 4.5 million threats a day, DXC put 7AI's agents into worldwide production in eight weeks, and saw an 80% reduction in Tier 1 analyst time and 95–99% fewer tickets requiring human review. The real story is what came next. Analysts once buried in the alert queue became threat hunters and incident-response leads. DXC went from proving the model on its own operations to delivering it to customers worldwide through DXC Agentic SOC. "It was one of the first AI technologies where I could see the full triad of value: fast, efficient, and autonomous." — Michael Baker, CISO, DXC Technology Read the full case study: https://hubs.la/Q04vHmMM0 #agenticsecurity #cybersecurity #SOC

Lior Div liked thisLior Div liked thisWhen a security team is stuck keeping the lights on, the business can't grow. That was the challenge at Abacus Insights, a lean healthcare data company where CISO and CIO Bill Brown watched a small, talented security team get consumed by alert triage. With 7AI, agents took over the "run" work, and Brown's team moved up to grow and transform: strengthening endpoint standards, building compliance tooling, and architecting cloud projects that had waited too long for attention. "Don't think about doing the same with less. Think about what you can now do that you couldn't before." — Bill Brown, CISO & CIO, Abacus Insights That's what agentic security makes possible: not a smaller team, but a team doing more of the work that matters. 16% of Israeli cyber companies are already in the growth stage, compared to just 7% in the broader tech ecosystem. What are the key criteria that helps these cybersecurity startups scale faster? Israel’s global-first mindset. Startups are pushed to meet the standards of Fortune 500 CISOs and scale across regions, not just verticals. Adopting the US-style approach to growth. This includes raising larger rounds earlier and investing in product depth. This is a shift that has enabled companies to compete head-on with global players and prioritise best-in-class delivery. If you’re looking for an Israeli implementation partner in cybersecurity, we can guide you accordingly. #SAICC #Israel #SouthAfrica #CyberSecurity #Growth #Technology

Today at Cybertech, Israel’s largest cybersecurity conference, Omri Timiancker put the spotlight where it truly belongs: The risk isn’t the technology It’s the decisions made around it. Algorithms already shape investigations, security and risk. The real gap appears when systems evolve faster than the people using them. At InsAIghts Academy, this is our focus in practice: building human judgment inside algorithm driven environments knowing when to trust systems, when to challenge them, and how to stay in control. Because the future belongs to those who understand how decisions are shaped not just how systems work.

Israeli startup Vega just raised $120M after being in the market for only 4 months. That's not just impressive fundraising—it's a signal that the SIEM market is broken. Here's what most security leaders don't realize: Traditional SIEM solutions are bleeding organizations dry. You're paying massive infrastructure costs to centralize data before you can even start threat detection. It's like having to move your entire house to a new location just to install a security system. Vega's approach flips this model: → AI-powered threat detection without data centralization → Automatic coverage gap mapping and noisy rule fixes → SOC teams can create new detections or use continuously updated ones → Already signing multi-million dollar contracts with Fortune 200 companies The real story? This isn't about another AI security tool. It's about the death of legacy security architecture. When a 4-month-old company can secure $185M total funding from Accel, Cyberstarts, and Redpoint, it means the old way of doing security analytics is fundamentally broken. Founded by Unit 8200 veterans who previously built and sold Granulate to Intel for $650M, Vega already scaled to 100+ employees and is attracting global banks and healthcare organizations. The writing is on the wall: Centralized data models are becoming as obsolete as signature-based detection. Is your security architecture ready for this shift, or are you still paying premium prices for yesterday's approach? #CyberSecurity #SIEM #SecurityAnalytics #ThreatDetection #AIcybersecurity Link: https://lnkd.in/eZ4e5Ebx
