A Poet Under Pressure is a main quest in Novigrad. This is the final main quest to save Dandelion and learn about his time with Ciri in the city.

Geralt and Zoltan have planned an ambush to bust Dandelion out of custody. The quest will become available after “The Play’s The Thing.” Hop on Roach and ride out of the city to meet Zoltan at the ambush site. Priscilla will show up to deliver a message. You may decide to let her stay or go. It doesn’t matter either way. You can also play Gwent to pass the time, if you’d like. When all is said and done, the ambush will start.

When the caravan shows up, one soldier will ride off with Dandelion! Leave Zoltan to kill the others while you chase Dandelion. Get back on Roach and use your Witcher Senses to track him down by follow the red horse shoe marks.

Ride slowly on Roach to keep an eye on the trail. Stop at a small camp that your come across to see which way the two rode off in. Continue following the trail until you come across a dead horse and three halfings. A witch hunter kicked them out of their hut. Convince them to give you the key to their cellar and sneak inside. You’ll come through the floor and surprise the guard. Take him out to save your pal Dandelion.

Outside, Dandelion is surprised to see Zoltan and Priscilla. He will then tell you what happened to Ciri in the quest “Ciri’s Story: Breakneck Speed.”

When that quest concludes, so does this one. Make sure to stop by the halfings afterward to claim a reward for clearing their hut.
