Weapons List

Rockstar has yet to officially confirm any of GTA 6's weapons; however, several firearms and melee weapons have been spotted in the two trailers and accompanying screenshots. Many of these match previous weapons, and others can be identified by their real-world counterparts.

Below are all the weapons we've spotted in the trailers and screenshots. This page will be updated with more weapons as they're revealed.

GTA 6 Firearms and Weapons

In previous GTA games, Rockstar has used relatively basic names instead of referring to firearms by their real-world version. For example, the Beretta M9 is simply called "Pistol." With that in mind, many of the weapons below have both names, though GTA 6 might eventually use something different. Here are all of the firearms and weapons spotted so far.

Weapons List

Revolver (.357 Magnum)

This high-powered handgun shows up in the screenshots on the promotional site. This one will be a go-to if you need extra firepower.

Pistol (9mm)

There are several 9mm pistols throughout the trailers. We see one that looks to be based on a Beretta M9 in a few scenes. There also appears to be one based on a SIG Sauer variant.

Pistol (9mm Variant)

As mentioned, there are a few 9mm types. We see this one that's made by Capo in one of the screenshots.

Assault Rifle (AR-15)

The AR-15 is unmissable throughout the trailers and screenshots. It's an iconic gun, and it's no surprise to see it in GTA 6.

Bolt-Action Rifle (Remington Model 700)

In this screenshot of a few men out hunting, we can see a bolt-action rifle that seems to be based on the Remington Model 700.

Grenade Launcher

In a "blink and you'll miss it" moment, we see Lucia blowing up a few cop cars with some kind of grenade launcher.

SMG (MP5)

During the heist scene in trailer 2, we see Lucia and Jason using SMGs that seem to be based on the MP5.

Semi-Auto Rifle (M14)

Another US icon, the M14 is seen in this shot featuring a few hunters on an airboat.

Golf Club

Seeing Cal with a minigolf club doesn't confirm we can use one in a fight, but it seems likely.

Outside of those weapons, there's a commercial from Ammu-Nation that shows off several potential weapons. We don't get any discrete shots of any of them, but here's an image showing off dozens of firearms.

We can see a long rifle that's likely based on a SIG Sauer 556, a shotgun seemingly based on the Browning Citori 725, and an AK-47, which is unmistakable. Plus, the host ends the commercial by shooting a huge LMG with a massive box mag. It's safe to say you'll have plenty of options for weapons in GTA 6.
