GTA 6 Leonida Locations
Grand Theft Auto 6 is set in Vice City, a location explored previously in 2002's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Unlike its predecessor, GTA 6 offers what appears to be a modern-day approach to the Miami-inspired location and goes on beyond that to encompass the state of Leonida.
Leonida, like its real-world inspiration Florida, boasts beaches, wetlands, and other staples, like mud bogs. After Rockstar released the second trailer, the developers also dropped a bunch of new information about six major locations in Leonida. Below, you'll find links to full write-ups about those locations and all the info we gleaned from the first trailer.
Two counties were shown on various road signs and in the background of a news report:
- Kelly County
- Vice Dale County (seemingly the county containing Vice City and other major locations)
Six major locations have been revealed after the second trailer:
Below are other locations shown on signs and in social media posts:
- Port Vice City
- Keys
- Vice Beaches
- Hamlet
- Waning Sands
- Vice City International Airport
- Stockyard (near downtown)
- Vice City Downtown
Leonida Map
The GTA 6 map has yet to be revealed, but you can take a look at everything the first iteration of Vice City had to offer in the GTA: Vice City interactive map or in the screenshot below:
There are clear comparisons to old GTA: Vice City locations too, as shown by the Vice City boardwalk shot below.
As mentioned before, we know GTA 6 will contain far more than Vice City, as confirmed by the first press release stating this game will take place across the state of Leonida.
