Richard Price liked thisRichard Price liked thisExcited to share the start of a new role as Head of AI Business Transformation at MedHealth. It follows nearly two decades in business transformation — building the first digital claims offering at an insurer, standing up straight-through processing at another, new service design introduced for a telco and a new product for commodity trading operations, designing operating models through some large and messy migrations & re-platforming, and plenty more. Different problems each time, same job underneath: change how the business runs so the numbers move and the customer actually notices. This role takes it a step further: using every available tool in the kit (AI included) to do the same job at a greater scale of complexity and impact. Grateful for the people I have worked with and the work done so far. Keen to get on with what's next.

Richard Price liked thisFY27 starts this week. Here’s what that means for us. Twelve months ago, RSPCA Pet Insurance didn’t exist in its current form. The partnership between RSPCA Australia and Pacific International Insurance was still being built. The product wasn’t written. The team wasn’t hired. The brand wasn’t live. On 1 April we opened for business. Three months of trading has given us data, customers, and a clearer picture of what works. Now we go again, with a full year’s plan, a board-approved budget, and a much better understanding of the market we’re in. The goal for FY27 is straightforward: grow a business that proves purpose and commercial performance belong together. More Australians insured. More premiums supporting RSPCA animal welfare work. A claims experience, through Direct2Vet, that actually feels like the insurance worked. Ask any Australian where they’d trust their pet’s insurance. The answer hasn’t changed. #RSPCAPetInsurance #AnimalWelfare #RSPCA #Direct2Vet

Still stuck on a legacy project platform? Your future PMO might be one decision away, but migration feels risky, messy, and disruptive. That was the challenge facing AustralianSuper. With Microsoft Project Online reaching end-of-life, they needed a modern platform that could support 400+ active users, migrate 90+ projects, and integrate with Oracle financials. The stakes were high. Without a seamless transition, they risked losing momentum, visibility, and stakeholder trust. Enter pmo365. AustralianSuper successfully migrated every project, onboarded hundreds of users on schedule, and now operates with a real-time single source of truth across their portfolio. As Mark Simpkins shared: “We onboarded all our users within the expected timeframes, which made the transition seamless.” Read the full case study 👇 https://hubs.li/Q03ZN9pX0 #pmo365 #projectportfoliomanagement #superannuation #digitaltransformation #governance

This is big. Three things NSW’s IT outsourcing overhaul got right (that most of us get wrong): 1. They admitted their current model was built for yesterday’s problems 2. They chose flexibility over efficiency 3. They are treating vendors like a portfolio, not a marriage The old model: Two big contracts, traditional service management, legacy thinking. The new model: Six specialised capabilities, multiple providers, built-in competition. Great stuff👌! It is basically the difference between putting all your money in one stock versus diversifying your portfolio. Same risk management principles, applied to vendor relationships. Sometimes the ‘riskier’ approach (or I call it building antifragile systems) is actually the safer long-term play. Thoughts? #VendorManagement #DigitalTranformation #ITStrategy https://lnkd.in/gxgdK2XR
