Mike Samboy reposted thisMike Samboy reposted thisIf you work in EDI, this one's worth your time. On Wednesday, May 13, Eradani's CEO Daniel Magid and Chief Architect Aaron Magid are speaking at the NEECOM (New England Electronic Commerce Users' Group) Virtual Spring Conference. Their session, "Beyond Automation: What AI Brings to Modern EDI," cuts through the noise and gets into what AI actually does in real EDI environments today: automated mapping, intelligent exception handling, faster trading partner onboarding, and less manual intervention. Just a practical look at where the industry is headed and how to evaluate AI features that actually hold up. Registration is free! Come with questions. Register Now: https://lnkd.in/geU_K2xC

Mike Samboy reposted thisMike Samboy reposted thisHad a great time at COMMON #POWERUp2026 last week talking with Alex Woodie from IT Jungle about something I feel pretty strongly about. AI tools are changing how IBM i shops write code. Fast. But speed without a solid pipeline is just faster chaos. That's why native Git support isn't a nice-to-have anymore. It's the foundation everything else depends on. Alex did a fantastic job covering what makes a real Git-native approach different. If you're an IBM i developer thinking about your DevOps setup in an AI-driven world, this one's worth your time. https://lnkd.in/g6h2bww6Eradani Touts Native Git Connection As AI Tools Spread - IT JungleEradani Touts Native Git Connection As AI Tools Spread - IT Jungle

Mike Samboy reposted thisMike Samboy reposted thisYour IBM i is ready for AI. But is your development pipeline? That's the question our CEO, Daniel Magid puts front and center in our latest blog, and it's one more IBM i shops need to be asking right now. AI coding tools are delivering real results for IBM i developers today. Faster code analysis. Quicker modernization. Less manual work. But here's the catch: most of these tools need your source code local, in Git, working the way 100 million developers expect. If your team is still managing code through PDM and traditional library structures, you're not just missing a checkbox; you're missing the foundation. Eradani DevOps gives IBM i shops true, native Git. Not a workaround. The full ecosystem, including branching, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, and integrations with SonarQube, Azure DevOps, Jira, and more. And when AI generates new or modernized code, it enters the same quality pipeline as everything else. Nothing reaches production without a review. Mike Samboy liked thisMike Samboy liked thisThe hard part of AI isn’t the demo. It’s trusting what happens after the demo. This was the topic at the recent East Bay CXO Meetup, where we had a fascinating conversation around Agentic AI and what it really takes to move from experimentation to enterprise production & topics around context, guardrails, evaluation, observability, and measurable outcomes. Huge thanks to Teqfocus for bringing together such a strong and insightful panel with Sunny Bedi, Rahul Juneja, Mohit Dhamija Karanwal. There’s a bigger question underneath all of this: How do you know an AI agent is actually doing the right thing? The question becomes even harder in enterprise environments. An agent may work beautifully in a controlled demo. But enterprises have thousands of workflows, integrations, configurations, user personas, permissions, data variations and edge cases. And unlike traditional software, AI-driven workflows aren't always deterministic. So when someone says, “We’ve deployed an AI agent,” my next question is: “How are you testing it?”. Not just whether the API responds, Not just whether the happy path works. But whether the agent can reliably navigate the real business process—across systems, data, users and constantly changing application environments. That’s a big part of why we’re building SimpleTest. The conversations after the demo were more valuable than the demo itself. I got feedback for product ideas, UX improvements and new ways of thinking about what enterprise testing should look like from the CXO and founders. That’s one of my favorite parts of these events—you show what you’ve built, people challenge your assumptions, and you go back to your drawing board with ideas for what to build next. My biggest takeaway: The next phase of enterprise AI isn't about building more agents. It’s about making them reliable, observable, testable and trustworthy. Because eventually, an AI agent isn't just a feature. It becomes a member of the team. And you’d better have a way to evaluate its work. 😉 Andy Singh Jas Kaur Vinod Nair #EnterpriseAI #AgenticAI #AITesting #SoftwareTesting #AI #CXO #EastBayCXO #SimpleTest

Mike Samboy liked thisReally pleased to have Dave Seligsohn formally join AbilityMap as our Head of Growth. Given what we do, it’s important that we apply the same thinking to ourselves that we encourage our customers to apply to their workforces. For us, that means looking beyond experience, credentials and skills to ask whether someone has the natural capabilities to perform well in the environment we’re asking them to operate in. Dave is a great example. His AbilityMap Imprint shows particular strength in Displaying Initiative, Achieving Plans, Solving Problems, Operating Independently and Business Acumen - capabilities we deliberately value in our own team and which are particularly important in the role Dave is playing as we expand internationally. And capability alone isn't enough. Our values matter: operate with integrity, do the job right, work as a team, have the courage to challenge and be challenged, and treat people with respect. Dave fits those exceptionally well….just ask those who know him. We ask our customers to be deliberate about aligning people, capability and environment. We should expect nothing less of ourselves. Great to have you with us, Dave. Onward. AbilityMap Russ Silvestri Kevin Chandler Peder Jacobsen Will HicklenMike Samboy liked thisWe are excited to announce that Dave Seligsohn has joined AbilityMap. Dave has been contracting with AbilityMap for the best part of two years but formally stepped into the role of Head of Growth earlier this year. Based in the US, Dave has been instrumental in building significant partnerships and cementing our commitment to our growing US customer base. Over the past several years, we’ve built growing evidence of the impact that understanding human capability can have on workforce performance, from reducing employee turnover and strengthening internal mobility to improving the quality of workforce decisions. At the same time, the market is changing. As organisations look for new sources of productivity and navigate AI and workforce transformation, the ability to understand the human capabilities required to perform effectively is becoming increasingly important. Dave is helping us turn that opportunity into growth. Dave has brought momentum to our strategic partner and alliance channel, working collaboratively with organisations to identify where AbilityMap’s Capability Intelligence can strengthen their existing solutions and create greater value for their customers. That approach has already contributed significantly to the development of our partnership with BI WORLDWIDE and, more recently, a new referral relationship with Cornerstone OnDemand. We are also beginning to introduce elements of this partnership-led approach into Australia. As Peder Jacobsen, VP of Learning at BI WORLDWIDE, says: “Dave brings a rare combination of strategic clarity, integrity, and personal executive discipline. He understands how to scale growth without losing sight of the human capabilities that actually drive results, which makes him an exceptional fit for leading global growth at AbilityMap.” And Will Hicklen, VP of Alliances at Cornerstone, captures another important part of what Dave brings: “Dave is one of the rare leaders who combines strategic vision with the ability to execute at the highest level. Over more than two decades in the Cornerstone ecosystem, he has been a trusted advisor, a catalyst for innovation, and a champion for helping organizations unlock the full potential of their people. His work building strategic relationships for AbilityMap is another example of his ability to recognize where the market is heading, bring organizations together around new opportunities, and turn those opportunities into meaningful business outcomes.” We’re delighted to have Dave leading AbilityMap’s growth as we enter this next stage, and even more pleased that we now have some results behind us to accompany the announcement. Welcome (officially), Dave.

Mike Samboy liked thisMike Samboy liked thisI’ve got some exciting news that I can finally share: I’m on the 𝗔𝗜 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 team at Lowe’s, supporting an in-house AI product called Newton. I’ve actually been on the Newton team since March, and I’ve been making an impact ever since. It’s been really cool getting to contribute while also learning just how much thought goes into building AI tools people can actually use. AI moves ridiculously fast, but the interesting part to me is still the human side of it. What are we actually helping people do? Where does AI remove friction, and where might it accidentally create more of it? Getting to work on those questions inside Newton feels like a pretty great intersection of a lot of things I care about: UX, AI, accessibility, and designing technology around how people actually work. I’m excited about what we’re building and even more excited to keep making an impact. Also, I get to say I work with Newton now, which makes my job sound slightly more like a science experiment than it probably is. 😄 #LifeAtLowes #ArtificialIntelligence #AIStrategy #UserExperience #ProductDesign

Mike Samboy liked thisMike Samboy liked this"Start with Why" is bad advice! You probably remember Maslow’s hierarchy of needs: 1) physiological 2) safety 3) love and belonging needs 4) esteem 5) self-actualization The idea was that if you don’t have the lower levels, you won’t (or can’t) care about the higher levels. The same concept is true in how you market your product. Despite the marketing “wisdom” that you should always lead with “benefits” rather than “features,” this is only true if your potential customer ALREADY knows… → What type of product you are → What type of problem you’re trying to solve → How you solve it (capabilities + features) (And in startup-land, this is usually NOT the case). Only once these more “basic” messaging needs are met can you start to talk about “benefits” (i.e. “increase revenue,” “save time,” “save money,” etc.) If you try to message at the benefit level without addressing the more basic needs, you will: ㄨ Obfuscate what your product actually does ㄨ Make your customer journey longer & have increased friction ㄨ Sound like you’re bullshitting Here’s an example using Wispr Flow (read from the bottom up).

What’s in Steve Davis’s Agentic GTM OS? A system built around a single failure point in every company: GTM breaks at the seams. Sales closes. CS inherits. Presales translates. Context disappears. Steven has spent decades operating inside that system and rebuilding it. 7 exits. Global CRO across sales, marketing, customer success, and partners. Now CEO at Provarity, focused on the most under-architected layer in GTM: presales. His model: revenue is a single system, not a chain of functions – ownership spans the full lifecycle, not stages – decisions are instrumented, not inferred – presales becomes a control point for deal quality, not a support role The constraint is no longer execution. It’s coherence. Steven brings this perspective to the CEO Roundtable: CEO panel: Agentic GTM Methodology — From Experimentation to Operating Discipline Mar 26 | 10:00 am PT A discussion on how experienced operators rebuild GTM as a system—and why most implementations fail at the seams. What happens when SaaS CEOs stop operating on gut feel… and start scaling with a proven GTM system? That’s the real impact of Aibiliti’s Market Entry Playbook (MEP). From cutting months off vertical launches to reducing CAC, improving sales velocity, and aligning GTM teams around one clear plan — CEOs are using MEP to turn unpredictable growth into a repeatable engine. What CEOs gain with MEP: • Faster, de-risked entry into new markets • A clear ICP → content → sales execution path • Predictable ROI across every vertical • GTM teams finally moving in one direction • A system they can run again and again If your next market move needs clarity, conviction, and measurable impact — start with a playbook built for execution, not theory. The agent market is polarizing into two extremes. 🧩 1) Builders (e.g. n8n, clay and many others): flexible tooling where customers assemble bespoke “agentic” workflows. 📦 2) Packaged vertical agents: pre-built solutions that promise outcomes out of the box (security triage, sales research, IT helpdesk, finance ops). Under the hood, both share the same unit of abstraction: a workflow. The key difference is who authors it: 🧑💻 Builders: authored by the customer, optimized for their environment. 🧠 Packaged agents: authored by the vendor/SMEs, optimized for many environments. Each extreme breaks in predictable ways. 🧩 Builders break like code: they’re great until reality changes—new data, new edge cases, new tools, new questions. Then the workflow either fails or degrades into “automation cosplay.” Many flows never needed AI; they needed glue. 📦 Packaged agents break on variance: real organizations don’t follow the vendor’s ontology. Data is fragmented, naming is inconsistent, policies are full of exceptions, and “best practice” is aspirational. The agent is often smart but not situationally correct. So the real gap isn’t “more agents.” It’s a better unit of adoption: something that carries domain expertise and survives contact with a messy environment. The middle ground is specialized agent templates: opinionated starting points (domain language + best-practice playbooks) with a deliberate adaptation surface—connectors, schema/ontology mapping, guardrails, and human checkpoints—plus an eval harness so teams can tune behavior, version changes, and rollback safely inside an Agent Builder/IDE. 🏁 In a fragmented space, the winners won’t just sell “agents.” They’ll ship templates that become production systems—because they come with a customizer that keeps them from becoming a bespoke services project.

The Agent Kit Just Made Your Entire SaaS Portfolio Obsolete. The market's reaction to the launch of "Apps in ChatGPT" and the "Agent Kit" is a textbook case of misinterpreting a paradigm shift as an incremental feature. Analysts are celebrating a new "app store," a flawed analogy that dangerously underestimates the disruption at hand. Our research indicates this isn't about adding plugins to a chatbot. This is the starting gun for the autonomous agent economy. The traditional, human-in-the-loop SaaS model is now on life support. Here’s the first-principles reality and what it means for allocators: "Apps in ChatGPT" Aren't Destinations. They Are Skills. For the last 15 years, software has been a place you go. You open an app, you click buttons, you are the processor. That era is over. These new "apps" are not destinations, they are specialized, API-callable skills for AI agents to consume. Their customer is not a human, it's another piece of software. Your UI is no longer a moat. The Agent Kit is the Factory for Autonomous Workers. The true revolution is the Agent Kit. It allows developers and businesses to build autonomous agents that can set goals, reason and then chain together multiple "apps" (skills) to execute complex workflows. Think of an agent that can conduct market research, write a strategy memo, create a marketing campaign, and deploy it, all without human intervention. The Death of "Per-Seat" Pricing. The entire valuation framework for SaaS is built on per-seat, monthly recurring revenue. This model is now fundamentally broken. Why pay for 100 human seats in a CRM when a single, autonomous agent can manage the entire sales pipeline by leveraging various "apps" for a fraction of the cost? The new model is per-task or per-API-call. This is a massively deflationary event for incumbent software giants. A Historic Reallocation of Value is Beginning. Capital must now shift from businesses that employ humans to use software to businesses that either: Build the Agents: The platforms providing the core agent kits and orchestration engines. Provide a Critical "Skill": Niche, best-in-class tools with a defensible data or model advantage that agents will pay to use (e.g., the definitive financial data API, the most accurate logistics routing tool). Power the Infrastructure: The compute, energy, and data pipeline providers that will fuel this explosion in machine-to-machine traffic. Investment Implications: We believe allocators must immediately stress-test their portfolios against this new reality. Every company predicated on charging for a human to click through a workflow is now a legacy asset. The volatility we anticipate is not risk, it is the repricing of the entire software and services sector. The key investment question is no longer "How many users does your app have?" #Tech #openai #SaaS #appsinchatgpt #chatgpt #agentkit #AI #kevariscapital #investing

GTM Orchestration: When Teams Play the Same Song. 🧠 Here’s a pattern we’ve seen across high-performing SaaS orgs 👇 Marketing generates interest ✅ Sales creates urgency ✅ PreSales builds confidence ✅ Product anchors vision ✅ CS ensures adoption When these functions are siloed, deals get stuck in fog. When they’re orchestrated, deals glide like clockwork. One of our clients recently created a GTM “war room” where Marketing, AEs, SEs, Product & CS met every Thursday for 30 minutes. Result? ⚡ Shorter cycles, cleaner handoffs, and a 22% increase in win rate within 2 quarters. GTM isn’t about adding more steps. It’s about syncing the rhythm. 👉 How does your GTM team ensure orchestration across functions? #GTM #PreSales #EnterpriseSales #SolutionEngineering #SaaS #SalesLeadership

SaaS promised freedom—work from anywhere, scale without headcount, automate everything. But it created a new cage. Workers no longer owned their tools, memory, or processes. Expertise became workflows; workflows became subscriptions. Those developers who lost access didn't just lose a tool. They lost productivity, context, continuity, and workflows they spent months building. Nothing they built was theirs. When you build on rented ground, the landlord always wins. AI arrives, and we're making the same mistake. 👉https://lnkd.in/gxDVT_Kt #SaaS #AI #FutureOfWork #Productivity #Innovation

Traditional B2B SaaS GTM models weren’t designed for cloud marketplaces, hyperscaler partnerships, or co-sell motions. But that’s exactly where modern SaaS companies live. The biggest shift we see at Cloudable.AI is that GTM is no longer a linear funnel. It’s a partner-enabled growth engine. Let’s compare: ❌ Traditional SaaS GTM: Marketing ➝ SDR ➝ AE ➝ Deal Desk ➝ Closed Won ✅ Modern AWS-Aligned GTM: Co-Marketing ➝ AWS Field Engagement ➝ Marketplace Listing ➝ Funding ➝ Procurement Bypass ➝ Closed Won ➝ Land & Expand If your GTM still looks like the first model, you're not tapping the opportunity Amazon Web Services (AWS) brings to the table. At Cloudable.AI we help ISVs rebuild GTM for the ecosystem they’re in, not the one they left behind. Expansion now drives up to 40–50% of new ARR for many SaaS companies. Let that sink in. Nearly half of growth is coming from existing customers. But most GTM systems are still designed around acquisition. Separate Sales and CS targets. RevOps focused on reporting instead of architecture. Data scattered across systems — making AI initiatives underperform. That model doesn’t support expansion-led growth. To win in this environment, companies are redesigning revenue: • Sales + CS aligned around Net Revenue Retention • RevOps operating as revenue architects • Salesforce structured for expansion visibility • Data Cloud powering AI-driven insights Growth today is less about adding more pipeline. It’s about building smarter revenue systems. As the leading Salesforce AI consultancy, we help businesses redesign their revenue architecture using Salesforce and Data Cloud — so expansion, automation, and AI actually drive measurable growth.
