Marvel fans eager to see more of Avengers: Doomsday may not have long to wait, following a tease from former Fortnite boss Donald Mustard.
Avengers: Doomsday directors Anthony and Joe Russo are due to speak at the SXSW London 2026 festival tomorrow, and will be joined by Mustard — who is now a colleague of the brothers at their production studio, AGBO.
Today, Mustard posted on X/Twitter to share a London address and note that the event starts at 10am with a "surprise at 2pm." Could this be the first full Avengers: Doomsday trailer fans have been waiting for?
The tease follows a previous hint by the Russos that was simply an all-green image. The shade of green looked similar to the cloak worn by Doctor Doom, and subsequent teaser images have since revealed it to be the flag of Latveria, which features Doom's symbol from the comics used as the Latverian insignia during his rule.
It seems likely we'll see more of Doom tomorrow, though whether it's a full trailer for the movie remains to be seen. Would Disney gift the trailer to the a UK-based festival rather than show it at its already-confirmed Hall H presentation next month at San Diego Comic-Con? And particularly as Marvel fans are also keen for the next Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer — since that movie launches much sooner.
Whatever is shown tomorrow, we'll report it here on IGN as soon as it happens. For reference, 2pm in the UK is 6am Pacific, or 9am Eastern. Set your alarms!
Avengers Doomsday is set to premiere on December 18, 2026, and will be followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027. Until then, you can see what Joe Russo had to say about spoilers for this year's movie ahead of its release.
