ZERO

You play as Zero, the protagonist who can be male or female. They seemingly appeared out of nowhere and have an uncanny sense for the Nexus that resides in every Anomaly. That makes them uniquely equipped to be an Anomaly Hunter, which is why they were sent to Eibon (an antique shop that also houses an Anomaly hunting crew) as the shop's newest appraiser. Though they don't actually have their Anomaly Hunter license yet...

"Hmm. Anomaly cases interest me too."

MINT

The rising star of the Bureau of Anomaly Control's Containment Strike Unit 2 (CSU-2), Mint is a walking encyclopedia of Hethereau information and can talk the ear off just about anyone (when she's off duty, of course). Just don't bring up how she's scored on the containment safety exams. That's the one topic she'd rather not discuss.

"Mint's the name, and I'm your go-to gal from CSU-2. Need a hand? Just call!"

NANALLY

Wise, calm, and dignified, Nanally is the Eibon Antique Shop's ace Anomaly Hunter who is quickly becoming one of Hethereau's most well-known and respected Espers. She is the head of the renowned Colucci family of Bridge Crossings and has been a key member of countless major Anomaly containment and nullification operations.

"I—no, ahem, I mean, I, Nanally Colucci, am the Ichi-daime of the future greatest family in Hethereau: the Colucci family!"

CHIZ

When you first look at Chiz, you might think she doesn't fit her job title of Lobby Manager at the Pink Paws Bank. But spend some time talking to her, and she'll change your mind. She can recite every contract clause, every condition, every fine-print footnote purely from memory.

"H-Hello, would you like to apply for a card... W-Wait, it's not a scam, I swear!"

JIUYUAN

Sterry Express deals in both packages and information, and Jiuyuan is the coordinator that keeps things running smoothly. She's well connected and excels at reading people and pulling information out of them. She's a regular at Hethereau's secret gatherings of powerful people, and always seems to leave with what she came for.

"Smart birds know when to get lost."

HATHOR

Hathor's mentor tasked her with becoming an elite courier, and that's exactly what she did without question or complaint. She IS punctual, intelligent, detail-oriented, and never lets anything get in the way of her goal. Even sudden changes or missing information are hurdles for her to clear with ease.

"As per request, please confirm the delivery and sign your name on the Proof of Receipt. The commission fee will be settled once the receipt is confirmed."

BAICANG

Baicang is captain of ETD-4 at the Bureau, but you wouldn't know it from his personality. He's carefree, irreverent, and is a master at dodging work. He's also blunt to a fault and shows no remorse for his antics, routinely leaving trouble in his wake.

"Words hold far more power than people realize. Scary, isn't it?"

FADIA

Even by ETD's enigmatic hiring standards, Fadia is in a class all her own. She can be unpredictable and takes pleasure from pranks that might go a bit too far, but what she really wants is to hunt the most dangerous prey.

"The pit of desire can never be filled, never satisfied. This affliction plagues not just you and me, but all of humanity."

DAFFODIL

It's not that Daffodill dislikes talking, she just never seems to know how to start. She's also less interested in her fellow humans than she is in Anomalies and the world around her. Her skills are well honed, but she only serves those she deems worthy. Beneath her unreadable expression, there might just be a flicker of warmth, like sunlight catching fresh snow.

"If you need me... I am here."

SAKIRI

If you see sticky notes on the fridge at Eibon, chances are they were written by Sakiri, even though nobody actually does what they ask. She's the kind of person who's fun to be around, unless you get on her bad side. Then you'll answer to her warhammer, Kiroumaru.
