Dhanashree Verma made a cryptic message on Monday, March 10.
Yuzvendra Chahal's estranged wife posted an Instagram story titled 'blaming women is always in trend'. The post comes after Chahal went viral on social media at the
Champions Trophy final, when he was spotted spending time with RJ Mahvash.
Dhanashree recently faced social media backlash after lawyers verified her divorce from the Indian cricketer. Dhanashree received a great deal of criticism for the purported alimony amount she requested from the sportsman and his family.
On Sunday, Chahal was spotted seated alongside RJ Mahvash in one of the venue's luxury stands, taking in the action. The leg-spinner was dressed in a black hoodie, a black t-shirt, and a silver necklace, and she appeared to be having fun. Mahvash had also posted on her Instagram handle, 'Kaha tha na jita ke aaungi, I am good luck for Team India.'
Aly Goni took to his Instagram handle reacting to RJ Mahvash's post, he wrote, "Indian team ki aur coaches ki mehnat, nope. Every Indian girl who was there in the stadium... on social media 'I am lucky.' "
Among various claims, one article circulating on social media said that Dhanashree requested Rs 60 crore in alimony following the divorce. However, her family has stressed that she has not made such a demand and has encouraged followers not to share unconfirmed information.
“We are deeply outraged by the baseless claims being circulated about the alimony figure. Let me be absolutely clearno such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumors whatsoever. It is deeply irresponsible to publish such unverified information, dragging not just the parties but also their families into unnecessary speculation. Reckless reporting like this only causes harm, and we urge the media to exercise restraint and fact-check before spreading misinformation and also be respectful to towards everyone’s privacy,” Dhanashree's family member mentioned.
