My friend James loves exercise, whereas Michael likes to sing. Nicholas and Robert are petty criminals (although the latter can sometimes be found floating in the local pool). But my question is, why was Susan in court?

Your friends

go by nicknames. James is Jim (gym), Michael is Mike, Nick and Rob are synonyms for steal (while Bob is a float). It stands to reason we would find SUE in court.
