Library membership is completely free of charge for everyone.

Joining is easy; just complete an application form, either at the library or online at the link below.

When you join online you will get a temporary library number, which you can use to access e-services straightaway. In order to borrow items, you will need to finalise your membership by bringing photographic ID and proof of current address to a library.

You can join the library at any age but children and young people under the age of eighteen years must get the permission of a parent or guardian to join. Parents/guardians are responsible for their children in the library, their children's selections and use of library materials and services, including access to the Internet.
