Martin Harris reposted thisMartin Harris reposted thisPalo Alto Networks has announced the native integration of the Prisma AIRS by Palo Alto Networks with OpenAI Codex. This update is designed to help security teams manage data loss and runtime threats associated with AI coding assistants, without altering existing developer workflows. Key capabilities of the integration include: Enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Automatically scans developer prompts to intercept secrets, API keys, PII, and proprietary code before they are submitted to the model. Advanced Threat Detection: Inspects incoming inputs for malicious code patterns, unverified URLs, and prompt manipulation attacks before they influence generated code or enter internal repositories. The integration operates entirely at the platform administrative layer. Setup is handled through the Codex Enterprise Management UI by entering the Prisma AIRS API key and endpoint. Because it does not rely on complex traffic steering or local IDE hooks, developers can continue using Codex normally. This architecture allows security teams to maintain centralized, organization-wide policy enforcement and audit-ready logging, while development teams maintain their standard coding speed. Martin Harris reposted thisMartin Harris reposted thisI’m proud to see Palo Alto Networks recognized as Leader Gartner Magic Quadrant for SSE for the 4th straight year! For 2026 Palo Alto Networks has overtaken the competition and is now rated the highest and furthest right in the Leaders quadrant. This means Gartner recognizes Palo highest for its Ability to Execute and furthest in Completeness of Vision. Gartner’s 2026 Magic Quadrant for Security Service Edge reflects a market that has moved well beyond simply replacing VPNs or filtering web traffic. SSE is now central to securing hybrid users’ access to the web, SaaS, private applications, and generative AI—while enforcing consistent zero-trust controls and protecting data wherever it moves. What stands out is why Palo Alto Networks is so well positioned: • Security efficacy for hybrid work: Prisma Access SSE brings threat prevention, data protection, adaptive access, SaaS security, and AI access security together to help organizations secure users, apps, and data consistently. • Platform strength and viability: Gartner highlights Palo Alto Networks’ financial strength and ability to continue investing in and expanding SSE as part of a broader platform strategy. • Market momentum: Palo Alto Networks is frequently on enterprise shortlists, reflecting the visibility, execution, and trust required for large-scale security transformations. • A practical path to SASE: Gartner notes Palo Alto Networks’ understanding of the market, including the need to address administrative complexity while supporting dual-vendor SSE and broader SASE deployments. • Innovation that addresses real-world access challenges: Recent advances such as AI Access Security and Prisma Access 6.1—including SASE Private Location capabilities for performance and resilience—show continued investment in securing modern access. The takeaway for security leaders is simple: SSE decisions should not be based only on a point solution for web access or ZTNA. The long-term advantage comes from security efficacy, operational integration, strong AI controls, deployment flexibility, and a vendor that can execute at enterprise scale. This is a dedicated capability designed to help organizations secure their AI deployments, neutralize AI-driven threats, and create a true defensive edge. This is the most consequential moment in the history of our industry. The choice for every company is now binary: Get the foundation right, and AI becomes your greatest defender. Martin Harris reposted thisMartin Harris reposted thisI’m excited to introduce the first secure agentic browser: Prisma Browser. AI is quickly moving from assisting… to acting. And that changes everything. What happens when an agent has your credentials? When it can take actions across apps on your behalf? This isn’t just an evolution of copilots. It’s a completely new risk model. With Prisma Browser, we built a secure agentic workspace where AI can act. With full visibility, governance, and real-time protection at the moment of action. 🛡️ Secure every AI-driven action 🔒 Protect sensitive data in real time ⚖️ Govern both human and agent activity We also support a bring-your-own-LLM approach, giving organizations flexibility without compromising security. AI won’t just help us work. It will work for us. And it needs to be secured accordingly. Link to blog in the comments. Most businesses across the NT and SA use less than 20% of the tools included in Microsoft 365. Email, chat, and file storage barely scratch the surface. Meanwhile, teams waste hours repeating tasks manually, switching between apps, and trying to manage inconsistent workflows across multiple locations. NFIT helps businesses turn Microsoft 365 into a genuine productivity engine. We look at your current processes, identify bottlenecks, and help you use tools like Planner, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Automate to streamline operations. Approvals, onboarding steps, project flows, document management — all can be simplified or automated. The transformation? Faster workflows, less confusion, fewer manual tasks, and a team that finally works in sync, no matter where they’re based. https://lnkd.in/gzHy83cV #Microsoft365 #CloudComputing #BusinessEfficiency #NTBusiness #RegionalSupport #NewFutureIT

A security roadmap is only useful if it reaches the tenant. Many businesses already have Microsoft 365 security capabilities available - MFA, Conditional Access, privileged access controls, device management, Purview - but do not have a clear view of what is enabled, what is effective, and what should be prioritised. That is where a security uplift should begin: - understand the business risk and customer requirements; - review the current environment and policies; - prioritise the controls that make the biggest practical difference; - implement and document the agreed improvements. For organisations preparing for ISO 27001, this is how policy, risk treatment and technical evidence stop being separate workstreams. For Kiwi businesses navigating digital transformation, remote work, and rising cyber threats, Sophos MDR (Managed Detection and Response) offers a critical upgrade. Unlike traditional endpoint tools, Sophos MDR doesn’t just detect threats, it actively hunts, investigates, and neutralizes them with a 24/7 expert team. PERFECT if you don't have an inhouse security team. Sophos MDR is a shift from reactive to 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 security. Current Endpoint solutions may block known threats, but MDR is built for the unknown. It combines AI-driven insights with human-led threat hunting, dramatically reducing dwell time and minimizing disruption to your operations. In New Zealand, where SMBs are the backbone of our economy, ransomware and supply chain attacks are no longer distant risks—they’re happening here. MDR isn’t a luxury. It’s a business continuity essential. If Endpoint protection is the cornerstone of your current cybersecurity setup, it’s time to reassess and elevate your strategy. Boards and business owners want resilience and expect solutions that go beyond antivirus and basic EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response). 𝐒𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐬 𝐌𝐃𝐑 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬: 💡24/7 threat detection and response by real analysts 💡Integration with existing tools (even non-Sophos environments) 💡Incident response measured in minutes, not days 💡Clear reporting for compliance and executive visibility This isn’t just a product shift, it’s a mindset shift. Embracing MDR means future-proofing your operations and showing leadership in cybersecurity maturity. #TeamSnapperNet and Sophos can help you move from protection to PREVENTION.
