The fund includes a massive $240m for cyber security - the largest investment in Australian history. This will 100% make NSW the cyber security capital of the Southern Hemisphere. The shift from "how do we get people into the system?" to "how little does anyone need to login to the system for this to just work?" That's the whole idea behind headless architecture: Decouple data & governance from any single interface, so work comes to people and not the other way round. This week's Claudeforce news is a live example of that in the wild with enterprise data and workflows inside a conversational AI, instead of a dedicated app you have to remember to open. Reflecting on my journey, it's been nothing short of amazing. Salesforce amounted to so much more than I had hoped for, and I'm incredibly grateful for all the experiences, growth, and talented people I've worked with along the way. Thank you. There's endless highlights I'm really proud of during my time, none of which would have been possible without the awesome team I've worked with locally and globally, and the trust and support I got from my managers Sean Li, Daniel Chan and Yaasheen Sheikh: - Stepped up as Acting Team Lead and Technical Lead for SaaS Development & Studio, helping manage daily queue operations, high-severity incident bridges, and customer escalations across the JAPAC region. - Served as the JAPAC Subject-Matter Expert for APIKit and Access Management, acting as the primary link between core engineering/product teams and global customer support. - Mentored engineers locally and globally, culminating in co-leading a 4-week intensive onboarding bootcamp in Dublin, Ireland with Vitalii Mykytenko for the 13 amazing support engineers under Rosie Flood. - Worked hand-in-hand with an extraordinary team of engineers and leaders to elevate customer care, build internal knowledge, and support our customers worldwide. Oracle SOA Suite 11g has major changes. It is built on a new platform, and tries to combine benefits from old products - ESB (from Oracle) and ALSB (from BEA previously) together. It was expected that upgrading from Oracle SOA 10g (which A&F adopted) to Oracle SOA 11g will need considerable effort. GDC A&F team started this internal assessment project to investigate…Led and managed a seven-person team developing internal technical solutions about:

It was expected that upgrading from Oracle SOA 10g (which A&F adopted) to Oracle SOA 11g will need considerable effort. GDC A&F team started this internal assessment project to investigate solution and prepare for future Oracle SOA 11g migration projects.
2. Open Source SOA Solution project:
This is an internal project to investigate and provide a complete solution for open source SOA integration project.
Responsibilities:
• Led and manage the development team.
• Monitor and control process and quality
• Planning/scheduling tasks
• Issue tracking
• Design oversight/input
• Documentation.
Main achievements:
The two SOA projects were completed within short time frame and with good quality, it got high praise from both on-site sponsor and GDC management, also contributed greatly to the company’s SOA delivery capability. Below are some main artifacts we created as output.
1. Detail migration solution document introduces how to manually migrate 10g ESB onto 10g OSB(ALSB) platform.
2. Detail solution document introduces how to perform complete FMW 11g upgrading (from FMW 10g) by leveraging on Oracle's upgrade command line tool.
3. Open source SOA Solution document.

Managed this multi-shoring project with agile iterative delivery approach, as well as established a continuous integration and testing framework which ensured quality and significantly reduced rework otherwise.

This is big. Three things NSW’s IT outsourcing overhaul got right (that most of us get wrong): 1. They admitted their current model was built for yesterday’s problems 2. They chose flexibility over efficiency 3. They are treating vendors like a portfolio, not a marriage The old model: Two big contracts, traditional service management, legacy thinking. The new model: Six specialised capabilities, multiple providers, built-in competition. Great stuff👌! It is basically the difference between putting all your money in one stock versus diversifying your portfolio. Same risk management principles, applied to vendor relationships. Sometimes the ‘riskier’ approach (or I call it building antifragile systems) is actually the safer long-term play.
