Garnet reminds my wife and I of the best parts of our relationship and our roles in the LGBT+ community. Her line, “We are everywhere!” is so empowering and relevant. It is worth remembering and declaring, so we designed this big, bold, bright 2.25” pin. Backers get an additional holographic print as extra thanks for helping make this pin a reality.
Hey everyone! So much has changed and we have been so busy, but we are still making lots of Rupphire, SU, and generally gay content! We post more on our Instagram now.
What do you think Ruby and Sapphire’s new forms will look like?
This is just playing with influences from Baseball, Cowboy, Wedding, & New Garnet outfits. I’m sure it is totally wrong but it was fun to do!
hi. i know this isn't the place to ask, but i can't find an email or anything more official. i bought a yuri on ice print from your booth at animenext 2017, and i'm fairly sure it's traced from this: mikkapi()tumblr()com/post/154934835149 ive been to your steven universe panel two years in a row which is why i remember that it was you two at the booth, and i really hope i'm wrong somehow about the art. i can send you a picture of the print i bought to compare it to, if you like. thanks.
Haha no we just both referenced the same photo. Here you can see one of my earlier development sketch files with the ref on the side.
Few artists know how to draw ice skating poses without reference– especially couples skating. This includes the YOI crew, who hired a a pro skating choreographer to give them references!
I’m glad you liked my print! It occurs to me that I never actually posted it here on tumblr because I kept meaning to cross-advertise our podcast with it. Well we’ll do that after new year, hopefully!
Sorry it is so late! Happy valentines to my dear love @stuffinfluffcooking. I got you the nerdiest thing imaginable; a painting of Gay Space Rock BEARS.
((For those of you who asked, somewhere buried in our 400 asks, “Would you ever dress up in a costume, and what characters would you be?” well here you go. Our Sapphire drew a terribly nerdy crossover with the subversive gay anime Yuri Kuma Arashi. Enjoy this art-warm-up! Neither of us have drawn much in the last few months for reasons. We started a weekly Podcast on LGBT issues in fandom, history, and current events! Hopefully we can be back in the swing of the askblog soon too.))
Only 24 hours left to spread the word and vote! Make sure it stays in the top 30!
We had a great night at B&N’s The Answer Q&A with Rebecca Sugar!
We were able to thank her for the wonderful work with her a watercolor we collaborated on. @stuffinfluffcooking did the Ruby rough sketch and line cleanup on both, and @nillia did the Sapphire rough sketch and watercolors.
She was so gracious when she accepted it (and a copy of @azamicomic
, which Sugar had inspired @nillia to finally work on 2 years ago through her writing panel @ Magfest).
My second question focuses on how at-risk (poor, often minority) students and students with disabilities fare under high-stakes testing. Please vote for it here.
Please Reblog. Tweet. Facebook. We can do this.
Don’t let the ALT-RIGHT TALKING BOBBLEHEAD have an easy time at the next debate!
Most of the top 30 questions are proudly deplorable gifts to Trump.
We’ve made it into the top 30, but we need to work hard to stay there.
It would be a double victory if we made this go viral enough to not only prompt a dialogue on LGBT issues, but to also knock off some of those terrible questions!
