What do you mean you can’t find a job? Have you looked on Indeed? What about Linkedin? You should try Upwork. How about Rise? Have you tried Jobera? Take a look on Dribbble. You GOTTA be on Jooble, dude. Get on Jooble. Jooble has it for you.

Daily fucking reminder that Luigi Mangione is innocent, completely and fully. He has been convicted of no crime. He has had no fair trial. He is a SUSPECT. Luigi Mangione is entirely innocent and everyone needs to stop parroting this insidious propaganda that he “committed” the crime he is only SUSPECTED of. He is not a murderer. He is not a criminal. He is an innocent man.

Put this out about Luigi Mangione.

Turns out the horsemen of the Apocalypse now prefer to go by Shareholder Profit, Private Equity, Corporate Personhood, and Workforce Optimization.

Shareholder Profit: War (the casus belli for attacks on workers’ rights)

Private Equity: Pestilence (they are parasites that voraciously strip the value out of a healthy business until it withers and dies)

Workforce Optimization: Famine (cutting hours and employees until the business is starved of staff, barely functioning)

Corporate Personhood: Death (a hollow, shambling mockery of a human with rights and needs)

Yeah I can work with that.

okay but why are so many medical professionals focused solely on getting their patients back to their jobs and not actually helping the patient feel better. like you will be literally unable to digest food or eat or do anything and they’ll be like “that’s not good we gotta get you BACK to WORK!!!!!!!!” and so they drag their heels and take up a bunch of time and give you treatments that don’t work or take forever to give you ones that do and when you tell them. hey i still don’t feel good the first thing is “BUT YOUR JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

fuck my stupid job. i’m dying. i’m a person not a walking job. help me. a lot of medical professionals will refuse to do their job and instead lecture you about being unable to go to your job instead. unreal.

literally this at both the individual and societal scale drives me up the fucking wall. There’s this constant stream of articles about how this or that health crisis (usually obesity but also lack of sleep, drinking, smoking, etc, at least some of which are valid concerns on a broad scale) is costing the economy X billion dollars and I’m like motherfucker it’s costing people their lives, their health and their happiness fuck your economy. Not everything needs a dollar value to be important. Public health matters because it’s the public and that’s made up of people and people deserve to like, be healthy generally, not because it makes the fucking line go up.

Can we maybe stop making shows for people who don’t watch shows and writing books for people who don’t read books and making video games for people who don’t play video games and making sports for people who don’t like sports and making music for

Reminder.

This is what the shooter looks like.

image

Gray jacket. Light gray backpack.

This is what the apparent suspect looked like the same day at Starbucks.

image
image

Green/brown jacket and black back pack

Notice lack of unibrow.

Luigi day of arrest.

image

Unibrow present and stubble on face/neck.

Why is this important? Because Starbucks guy doesn’t have those.

Which leads me to perp walk luigi.

image

“Oh they must have a great barber lmaooo” no. Stop joking for a second. No one gets this treatment so why him? Because they are trying to make him look like the Starbucks perp. They think we are dumb and will forget shooter Mcgee doesn’t look anything like Starbuck boy.

Luigi said evidence was planted on him like the gun and the manifesto.

I believe this because the manifesto praises the efforts of the policemen on like page one. Like they couldn’t even not suck their own dicks for 3 seconds to plant compelling evidence.

Do not let these people fool you. Luigi did not do this. Even though it’s funny, even though he’s hot even though <insert myriad of excuses I’ve heard here>. Do not let them get away with brainwashing you into believing he did it even if you agree with what happened.

I’m pro UHC shooter.

I’m pro luigi being released because hes innocent.

I also saw a post advocating for not referring to the UHC shooter by the name Luigi, even when you’re making memes, because what that does is presume guilt and we’re supposed to presume innocence.

the tv show “the torment nexus game is bad” being a poignant critique of wage slavery and class disparity and capitalism that is popularized in the west by big tv corporation bc it makes them money, then being turned into “the torment nexus game is bad: the game show” by the most souless and therefore most popular youtuber because it makes him money, so then big tv corporation makes their OWN “the torment nexus game is bad: the OFFICIAL game show” to make even more money off the “the torment nexus game is bad” fictional critique of capitalism tv show, and then it turns out that many allegations of torment nexus-like conditions come out of both reality tv game shows but there aren’t any consequences. and then Bigger Corporation goes to the soulless youtuber and is like. lets make another “the torment nexus game is bad” -esque game show to make us a lot of money because the people stuck in the torment nexus love that shit. it’s called “the torment nexus game is fun :-)” and then the writer of the “the torment nexus game is bad” posts on twitter that he fucking hates his own story and what it has become. you would think this is a plot from a heavy-handed early black mirror episode but it is unfortunately a plot from real life

I must not mock Gen Alpha. Mocking Gen Alpha is the mind killer. Mocking Gen Alpha is the little-death that brings total generational solidarity obliteration. I will engage with Gen Alpha lovingly. I will permit them to be cringe. And when they grow up I will turn my eye to their accomplishments. Where mocking has gone there will be nothing. Only generational solidarity remains

The Kids are indeed Alright.

We must teach them the Lore of things,

like piracy, and how to find stuff at the Library, and Unions, and what it’s not legal for job applications to ask you.

when i hear complaints about the boomers, i say “was it not boomers getting shot by cops while protesting against the war in vietnam? Were not boomers the ones who insisted that banks would no longer require a cosign from a husband or father for a woman to open an account or have a credit card? Did they not literally take us to the moon?”

When i hear complaints about gen x i say “ did not gen x bear the brunt of AIDS and the creation of the ‘inner city’? wasn’t it gen-x marching for queer rights and women’s body autonomy and a change in corrupt banking policies in some of the largest protests in the country’s history?”

when i hear complaints about millennials, i say “have not millennials fought against and lived through so many 'once in a generation’ disasters they should by all rights have given up by now? Are not millennials those who rally against the status quo? the industry killers, the cop protesters, they who live through unending hardship as the economic noose tightens, leading the charge for sustainability and socio-economic reform?”

when i hear complaints about gen-z i say “hasn’t gen-z gotten involved younger, and been involved stronger, in the continuance of these noble traditions? Are they not living without even the broken pieces of the promise given to the generations that came before? haven’t they had their childhoods derailed by the imminence of consequences for actions they were never even present for?”

when i hear complaints about generation alpha i say “HOW DARE YOU. How dare you malign these souls who will have to fix so much that they did not have a hand in ruining… or else die of these mistakes made before they were born. How dare you do the work of our shared oppressors and alienate our fresh blood. You are not to mistreat and mock the youngest soldiers in this fight, no! you point out to them the best targets, you share your rations, you show them how to stay alive, because anyone in the trenches with us is our brethren, our sistren. Our safety and our strength.”

don’t let the worst kind of stand up comedian tell you other generations are terrible. Don’t let the worst kind of headline convince you each generation is against the other. Don’t let the worst kind of oppressive force keep us divided along lines that mean nothing real. Because that is how they win.

This was said so much better than I ever could. Generational Hate is how we all die slow.

Random nerd who spends way too much time on the interwebs. Lives near Adelaide, kinda. Twenty-something. Some kind of not-a-man-but-also-not-a-woman person who is also pansexually asexual (it's like someone who'd eat practically anything but has a puny appetite). Simultaneously smarter, and yet more naïve, than this tumblr makes them out to be. Writes thoughts out randomly sometimes, but mostly reblogs social justicey things.
