Without a doubt Shadow alone would be quite protective of Silver, though that could be more due to the Maria trauma. As the pic I just reblogged mentioned, I imagine Silver getting sick would put him through the emotional wringer

Yeah seems like everyone was a rude asshole in Rivals but for whatever reason some people decide that one portrayal of Silver is the only acceptable version of him despite not acting like that since XD seems like it would be counter productive to be a protective hopeful dude trying to make people smile if he was just always a jerk

They should have you write character bios for the next Sonic game/movie. You could make things interesting and fun just by giving them more to do with their abilities than 'I'm only using this one move even though I could destroy the universe'.
I’ve noticed Silver gets nerfed a lot when he could be doing a lot more XD it would be fun if the whole gang worked together and did various stages depending on their abilities and then sonic saves the say at the end idk maybe the three hedgehog boys work together again
