Tim Sweeney's Epic is actually a joke, I can't believe that a multibillionaire corporation cannot take a hint and start doing things properly. Like, hello, this thing doesn't have BASIC features like a proper community tab and a shopping cart. What are they even doing?
Epic Games openly admits it "vibe coded" its new store while taking jabs at Steam and Gabe Newell's yachts. The AI-generated storefront has none of the features you'd expect, but it does launch somewhat faster than Valve's counterpart.
