Xbox announces ROG Xbox Ally handhelds

Xbox has collaborated with ROG as the company announces the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally.

Xbox has revealed their collaboration with ROG as they reveal the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. This is a 7-inch FHD (1080p) IPS LCD with up to 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The ROG Xbox Ally is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor while the upgraded Ally X comes with AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor.

The handhelds and have Windows 11 in their system meaning that not only does it support PC games, but apps such as Discord and Twitch can be installed. The company has stated that both devices can be played natively, remotely with their Xbox in another room, or via cloud.

Xbox has stated that the ROG Xbox Ally handhelds will arrive in the holidays of this year. This means we can expect it to arrive around December.

The devices will be available in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Availability for other markets are said to follow.
