You've mentioned multiple times that a successful Drift between pilots needs to be based on mutual trust, and the lowering of mental barriers. This makes me curious about a pilot like Stacker, who - and I'm paraphrasing here - says that he brings nothing into the Drift, with the implication being that he is compatible with anyone. Is he simply the exception to an exhaustive list of rules? Additionally, wouldn't that zen-like mindset potentially alienate co-pilots accustomed to reciprocity?
Meditation, years of experience, that sort of thing. He's not saying he's literally a blank slate. He just means he's not going to lose it.
