Elon Musk has confirmed that SpaceX closed $40 billion in debt financing for graphics processing units (GPUs), with the chips expected to arrive in the first half of 2027. He disclosed the deal on X, October 25 (embedded below) while responding to investor Chamath Palihapitiya, who had warned that mounting financing pressures and delays in data center construction could leave AI computing capacity sitting idle next year.

Slightly unrelated to the news post, but related to SpaceX and their dear leader: apparently, when russia military satellite COSMOS 2612 was dangerously approaching NATO's ICEYE-X36 on October 15, it was done so with a help of one of the Starlink 35856 satellites that approached ICEYE-X36 first and issues warning, halting NATO's satellite movement to prevent collision and letting russian satellite a close approach. I realize facts are anathema to the anti-Musk crew, but this is simply disinformation:

"...Contrary to online rumors, Starlink satellites did not assist Kosmos 2612 in executing this maneuver ... Speculation linking Starlink to the event likely stems from unrelated warnings given to SpaceX...."
