There simply isn't a better consumer graphics card on sale right now, as our GPU benchmarks below will confirm. It ships with 21,760 CUDA cores, which is more than double what is available in the second-best RTX 5080. It also has 32GB of GDDR7 VRAM, with a huge 512-bit memory bus. There won't be a game that this GPU can't handle.

The Intel Core i9-14900K you're getting is a little older these days, but it's still a popular choice for pre-builts. It continues to rank highly among our CPU benchmarks, delivering performance that beats plenty of its Intel successors. It has 24 cores, eight of which are the best-for-gaming performance cores, along with a top 6 GHz boost clock speed.

There aren't many compromises to spot elsewhere, either. 64GB of DDR5 RAM is generous in a pre-built these days, given the cost of memory right now. Meanwhile, that 2TB SSD gives you scope for a good set of game installations alongside Windows. This is an all-MSI affair, in a simple case with plenty of case fans to keep the build running cool, even under load.

This is a formidable rig for anyone, whether it's for gaming or productivity. The price alone makes it a sensible choice if you're looking to buy an RTX 5090: why buy just the GPU when you can pay 17% more for an entire machine? The additional cost of RAM, along with the SSD, will easily outstrip what you'd pay here. While we can't change the market, if you're looking for a gaming PC with one of the highest specs available, this MSI Aegis R2 rig for $4,899 is well worth considering, so make sure to grab it before this limited-time discount disappears.
