About Andrew King

Andrew King is a Features Editor at TheGamer. He has been working as a journalist since 2016 and is a museum caretaker in his spare time. He loves immersive sims, RPGS, and David Lynch movies.

Favorite Games

I love stories and systems in equal measure, so The Last of Us, Hitman: World of Assassination, Baldur's Gate 3, Half-Life 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are all among my personal favorites.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

By draping the mic cord over the ceiling fan in my family's basement, I was able to play guitar and sing at the same time in the original Rock Band. This was the true rock star fantasy and all my friends were very impressed.

Industry Focus

I write about big games with lots of interesting systems like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. But I also love good characters, so you can find me covering games like The Last of Us and Baldur's Gate 3.

I also spend a lot of time studying film, and that works its way into my coverage here, with criticism of new movies and analysis of industry trends.
