Conor McGregor has been one of the hottest names in UFC history, though not always for the right reasons. With UFC 6 receiving a release date, fans are now wondering whether or not the Irish champion will be featured in the latest title?
After his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov, McGregor’s career has been rocky, to say the least. Between fights in the ring and in court, he’s been quite preoccupied recently. But let’s see if his reputation is enough to earn him a spot in EA Sports’ latest UFC title, UFC 6.
Will Conor McGregor Be In EA Sports UFC 6?

Will Conor McGregor be in UFC 6? Honestly, we don’t know. The title only recently got assigned a fixed release date for June 19 of this year, so the official roster isn’t out yet. The only two confirmed characters in the game are the cover stars, Alex Pereira and Max Holloway. Other than these two, I can’t say for certain who will be in the game and in what capacity.
While most active UFC fighters are almost guaranteed a spot in UFC 6, McGregor’s case is slightly different. Aside from not actively participating in fights at the moment, he also faced several battles outside the Octagon that drew a lot of negative attention.
The McGregor Controversy
For those of you who played UFC 5, you might have noticed that Conor McGregor was silently removed from the game’s roster without any major announcements. This decision was based on the allegations against the Irish fighter, who was found liable in a civil case. UFC decided to distance itself from the fighter to retain the franchise’s image.
With him being removed from UFC 5, is there still a chance for him to make a comeback in UFC 6? Well, I thought so at first. McGregor was rumored to take part in the UFC Freedom 250 event, aka the White House card, scheduled for June 14th. But Dana White, CEO of UFC, put those rumors to rest. He confirmed that the highly anticipated matchup between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will not take place on this card.
So, between his inconsistent appearances in the ring following his 2021 leg injury and the legal battles he’s faced, the likelihood of McGregor appearing in UFC 6 is extremely low.
However, this is all just speculation right now, so take it with a grain of salt. If I’m being honest, considering how massive a draw McGregor is, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the active roster for UFC 6. As we get closer to release, we’ll know for certain whether he’s stepping back into the virtual Octagon or sitting this one out due to the controversies.
