EA is finally releasing UFC 6 this year, and the announcement seems to have come out of nowhere. The last entry in the franchise, UFC 5, is nearly three years old at this point, and while the game showed a lot of promise, the career mode felt merely iterative and a bit lackluster. Because of a lack of a proper gameplay reveal and more details, we unfortunately still don’t know what the new career mode is going to look like.
However, EA has given us a lot of other information about the game while we wait for more details. Let’s take a look at the release date, platforms, pricing, and the differences between the Standard and Ultimate editions. Here’s everything we know about UFC 6, so far.
UFC 6 Release Date, Price, And Platforms

According to the EA website, UFC 6 is slated to release on June 19, 2026, at 8 PM PST. The game will release on PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X|S consoles. There is no official confirmation for a PC release, which isn’t much of a surprise, as previous titles from the franchise were also console-only. However, as reported by Mike Straw at Insider Gaming, a PC port is in development; we just don’t have a confirmed release window for it. For now, take that information with a grain of salt.
According to the PlayStation and Xbox store pages, the Standard Edition of the game will cost the traditional $70, while the Ultimate Edition bumps the price up to $100. For now, the Standard and Ultimate Editions are the only Editions of the game, and they vary in terms of content on offer. If you’re subscribed to EA Play, the Standard Edition of the game will cost you $63 ($7 off), while the Ultimate Edition will cost you $90 ($10 off). The PlayStation Store states that these offers are valid until the game releases on June 19.
For those of you who care about the little details, the Xbox page states that the game will run at 4K and supports “60FPS+,” likely indicating a higher-performance mode to choose from. UFC 5 did not support 120FPS, so if UFC 6 were to add this feature, it would be a welcome addition. The PlayStation Store page mentions that the game will have a PS5 Pro Enhanced version, which could mean higher fidelity or a 120FPS mode.
UFC 6 Ultimate Edition And Pre-Order Bonuses

For those of you wondering, yes, both editions of UFC 6 do offer pre-order bonuses. However, if you care about early access, you’ll have to cough up a $100 for the Ultimate Edition to get it. Pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition gets you early access starting on June 12, seven days before the game’s public release. As for pre-order bonuses for the Standard Edition, you only get three fighter skins, but we don’t know who those fighters are or what those skins look like at the time of writing.
Here’s everything you get with the Ultimate Edition of UFC 6:
- Fighter Pass: UFC Legends (8 new fighters, 2 at launch + 6 in future).
- Expansion Pass: Access to two fully-loaded expansions, which include a new mode and more. Coming Winter 2026 and Summer 2027.
- VIP Pass: 5 Fighter Skins, 6 VIP Cosmetic Items, 3 VIP emojis, and ongoing progress boosts and rewards across the game.
- Rivalry Bundle: 2 Fighter Skins + 500 UFC points.
- 7 Days Early Access: June 12-18.
The rewards listed above are bonuses for buying the Ultimate Edition, and they’ll probably be separate DLC purchases for buyers of the Standard Edition later on. Furthermore, the people over at the r/EASportsUFC speculate that the game will also support cross-play, but that information comes from anonymous leakers from Discord, so it’s far from concrete. However, if they are planning to release this on PC (again, not 100% confirmed) and consoles in the same year, adding cross-play does make sense.
