This game is absolute peak for PS2 standards, the fifth entry from the king of iron fist tournament lays the groundwork from the fourth game and doubles it up with its character roster, it's really cool that this version gives you the playable versions of the first three arcade games and starblade at the very beginning when you start up the game, the attention to detail with the story mode and character roster feels right at home, the devil within mode is also fun addition. This is a 10 out of 10 for me

This is hands down, a solid enough game in the Tekken series so far, while the 5th installment is supreme, it's nice to have the beat em up mode Tekken Force get added for the second time after 3, character roster is solid enough even having a robot named Combot who made his only appearance in the franchise rather than having Mokujin getting even more spotlight as an underrated fighting character, pacing itself feels right at home and uses the same graphics from tag tournament. A 9 out of 10 I consider for my rating

This game is pretty much outside of the main series, instead of heavily relying on side scrolling shoot em up action, it relies really well with its RPG story, the RPG system kind of takes it from Shadow Hearts and Shadow Hearts Covenant along with other games that utilize the turn-based combat like Final Fantasy X, the voice acting is Hollywood spot on, even those collectible figurines are what makes the game almost a collectathon. This is good for those that play RPGs with deeper story

Before insomniac handled the Spider-Man IP with three successful games, Activision and treyarch made this movie tying game just as good as the first one only this time in an open world of New York City, the web swinging is very fluent, Toby McGuire reprising his role in the game was a nice touch, seems like Activision had very little faith with the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, even if you don't own any of the original GTA games on the PS2, give Spider-Man 2 a chance

Remarkably a game that puts you in the shoes of the wild West, long before Red Dead redemption, gun was the premier open world game Activision and developer Neversoft offered, the free roaming around the Western setting is a nice touch along with the Dead eye mechanic allowing you to use slow motion in order to kill out the enemy NPCs, it seems like Activision has learned from all the westerns such as the movies starring Clint Eastwood as well as modern western films like unforgiven and tombstone, it's a love letter to all Western.

Though it's not as polished compared to Tony hawk's earlier games until American Wasteland, Namco and developer Criterion, the same people behind burnout made this game very solid, the hoverboard aesthetic especially with the back to the Future like vibe holds up quite fine, and it has a more Street punk style compared to sega's jet set radio series, all in all, if you enjoy Tony hawk, give this underrated gem a chance.

Scooby-Doo! Unmasked

As a certain Scooby-Doo fan myself, unmasked feels like a return to the old formula from night of 100 frights, just without the metroidvania like feel, instead it has a more Sly cooper/Jak & daxter like platforming, and definitely not the Crash bandicoot style platforming like in the Cyber Chase game for the PS1, and having the late Adam West in the game was a genuine treat for those who grew up with his era of Batman, bottom line, THQ and A2M was able to fix the mistakes that it's 2004 predecessor Mystery Mayhem had. A 9 out of 10 for the PS2 version though GameCube is far superior

This is a more well-polished version compared to the N64 and PC version, Atari interactive knew what they were doing when making it decent enough for PlayStation owners, even though Mr tip doesn't appear on this version but only on the N64, the controls feel more balanced compared to the two versions, the ball transforming mechanic works quite fine for situations that require perfection, unless you don't transform it into a crystal ball until it's game over, it may have almost got the Super Mario 64 inspiration in terms of level selection and exploration, the PS1 version is definitely solid in my books.

LEGO DC Super-Villains

Even after Lego Batman 3, we've gotten an original story to fill the gaps, your custom character is the main part of the game, whether you want to make it good or evil or just make an antihero, the attention to detail with this game is spot on, even the character rosters larger compared to the first three Lego Batman games plus the DLC, and it's nice to have the return of clayface along with other fan favorite villains like Ras al ghul, Red Hood, and more, thank goodness they got Nightwing right after Lego Batman 3, because he's supposed to be blue with black and not red, the Nintendo switch version is the definitive way to play The Lego DC experience, controls are mostly tight as well as consistent frame rates that feel easier, it might be backwards compatible with the Nintendo switch 2 in mind. 10 out of 10 for this game, it's like playing Arkham City in Lego form

This was the best game I had since Christmas of 2008, it was an original story retold within the '90s Batman quadrilogy, but done right, even when you get past one of the hero stories, unlocking Arkham asylum and the villain stories get even better when there's a simple twist, the roster may not be as big compared to Lego Star wars and Lego Indiana Jones but it sure lives it up for replay value such as getting the mini kits, upgrades for Batman and Robin, alongside million stud challenges between the batcave and Arkham asylum, even with every version of the game, you'd always get the little code pamphlet as well as McDonald's Happy meals giving you the cheat codes, even if you want to get 100% complete. 9 out of 10 for this game, even though the sequels get even better alongside DC supervillains.

LucasArts and TT games knew what they were doing back in the summer of 2008, even when we got Indiana Jones as a playable character in Lego Star wars the complete saga, playing the action hero in his original trilogy is a love letter to the '80s kids and those growing up from the 90s and 2000s would get a good amount of replay value with its impressive character roster from all three films including Han Solo as and unlockable character who makes a guest appearance, it earns a good amount of praise like the Lego Star wars games do as well as TT games' fall 2008 release of Lego Batman the video game, even though the mini kits are replaced by treasure which is somewhat unique in its own way. Overall, a 9 out of 10 for this Lego game

This was a Lego game that feels like a sequel that improves from its predecessor, the levels and cutscene reenactment of the original trilogy sure adds a lot of humor even by today's standards, best of all, using the old save extra from your Lego Star wars 1 save I would give bonus points to TT games allowing compatibility with save files between ps2, gamecube, and Xbox, nearly 20 years in the making of a sequel that stood up to its predecessor from its own right.

While it is a super smash Bros clone, the training dojo section is pretty interesting, well it's fun with having multiplayer, but why the criticism that Konami suffered from, at least the main line Ninja turtles trilogy based on the 4kids series was playable enough

Honestly, this game based on the kids WB animated show inspired by the likes of Bruce Lee is quite like a nice super smash Bros like beat em up, multiplayer looks impressive with having a couple friends overall, art style seems very accurate like the show, hopefully the review scale on metacritic will increase

This game may have suffered from mixed reviews but Heroes was mostly the better Bionicle game with a lot of personality the story mode is pretty solid while it's takes time to get used to collecting the matorans as well as unlocking bonus content such as a trailer for Bionicle mask of light the movie followed by other promotional stuff and concept art it feels almost lighthearted to say the least even though the Xbox version is the better one of the bunch PS2 and GameCube seem to be average

Overall it's an isometric Style beat them up much like the Hunter the Reckoning series good for DBZ fans that want to relive it while it is a guilty pleasure but it doesn't matter whether someone likes it or not although they are missing a few things such as the Majin Buu saga but the only movie character included is Broly who happens to be overpowered at least which is the only saving grace in the character roster it could have been better if the animation was straightforward
