AWS Sr. Principal Technologist David Yanacek lost his beloved coffee mug. So he asked Amazon Quick to help find it. ☕ Quick searched his calendar for every conference room he had meetings in over the last month, put together a search plan, and he found it right away. Since Quick is connected to the tools you work with every day, it can help sift through the noise to answer your questions and assist with tasks big and small. Even finding your coffee mug.

AWS Newsroom reposted this
Q1 showed strong momentum as customers continue to choose Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build and run AI. Some of what we saw, and other highlights, since our last earnings: ▪️AWS is growing at 28% YoY — our fastest growth in 15 quarters — on a very large base. ▪️We exceeded $20 billion annual revenue run rate for Amazon’s chips business — inclusive of Graviton, Trainium, and Nitro — which is growing triple-digit percentages YoY. ▪️Amazon Bedrock continues to scale rapidly — processing more tokens in Q1 than in all prior years combined and 170% growth in customer spend QoQ. ▪️We also expanded model choice, including adding OpenAI models and introducing Amazon Bedrock Managed Agents, powered by OpenAI. ▪️Agents are moving into real systems. With AgentCore, customers are deploying agents as frequently as every 10 seconds. ▪️Our application layer continues to grow. Customers are using Amazon solutions like Connect, Transform, and Quick to automate workflows. At our event yesterday, we launched the new Amazon Quick desktop app, which is already changing the way I work. ▪️We're seeing strong builder momentum. The number of developers using Kiro more than doubled QoQ, and enterprise customer usage is up nearly 10x. We're still early, but the pace of adoption continues to accelerate. Thank you to the AWS team and our customers and partners who make this all possible every day. https://lnkd.in/eaPR-u-5

Still recovering from What’s Next with AWS 😅 It was one those days when the news didn’t stop so neither did we. Between the executive prep, press briefings, blog posts, live production, and social content — we were everywhere all at once. Here’s an inside look at the event through the POV of our content producer.

We gave Jigar Thakkar 30 seconds to introduce the new features in Amazon Quick. Spoiler: he's quick. ⏱️ Quick's new desktop app brings you a personalized AI assistant that's proactive, has context across your work, and gets smarter over time. It doesn't wait for you to ask. It tells you what you're missing, takes action on your behalf, and learns how you work. Also new: custom apps built with natural language, integrations with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and Salesforce, and simple login for anyone to sign up. AWS VP of Database Services, Ganapathy (G2) Krishnamoorthy, sat down with Digital Times to talk about a challenge facing Korean enterprises: how to build AI-ready infrastructure without compromising data sovereignty or undertaking massive modernization projects. Oracle AI Database@AWS, which recently launched in the AWS Seoul Region, helps organizations migrate critical Oracle DB workloads to the cloud without re-architecting applications by embedding Oracle Cloud Infrastructure within AWS data centers. For regulated industries like finance and healthcare, this solves a critical tension: the need to modernize while maintaining compliance and control. CJ OLIVE YOUNG is already leading the way, having completed preliminary validation and begun migrating its core Oracle workloads to Oracle Database@AWS. This just in: Meta is deploying tens of millions of AWS Graviton cores to power its agentic AI, making Meta one of the largest Graviton customers in the world. ✨ Agentic AI demands CPU-intensive power for real-time reasoning, code generation, search, and orchestrating multi-step tasks. While GPUs remain essential for training large models, Graviton is purpose-built for these workloads. The deal builds on Meta's long-standing AWS relationship and use of Amazon Bedrock to support its next generation of AI. Read more: https://go.aws/3OW18aq

AWS announces new features in Amazon Bedrock AgentCore that take developers from an idea to running agents in minutes. Managed agent harness: Declare and run a working agent in three decisions — no orchestration code, no infrastructure setup. Customers including VTEX, Parrot Analytics, NTT DATA, Inc., and Reactiv will have a faster path from idea to deployment. AgentCore CLI: Prototype, deploy, and operate from the same terminal, powered by infrastructure-as-code with CDK support. Available next week: Pre-built skills bring curated AgentCore best practices directly into Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. This is already available in Kiro today as a built-in Power.
