Office365 Online Collaboration – What is your experience?

I’m working for the last 3 months with four very experienced IT people on a large and important document. During this time Office365 is driving us mad on a regular basis.

We lost data several times, experience sync issues, deal with a messed up document maps and reboot computers to solve locking issues. Not to talk about the UX of Teams which doesn't auto refresh, can't display long file names or forces you to go back to Sharepoint to do the most basic stuff.

The team is frustrated and we lost trust in the solution which is not enterprise ready (any more). So, I tried to chat with Microsoft support, clicked “chat now” and got “page not found”. Happy days.

Do you use Microsoft’s online collaboration features? What is your experience?

Great article, Volker! Thank you for sharing. In response to your question: Everyday, and although our teams have at one point or another experienced challenges noted, but we overcome the hurdles together to deliver. More often than not this collaboration brings us closer to clearly understand which part of the document each are working to complete. Not an end all solution but has produced more benefits than drawbacks for the past five years.
