Suren Singh liked thisSuren Singh liked thisWe spent Sunday morning over a relaxed, noisy brunch table in South Mumbai—a lively group of nearly 25 of us from our society, celebrating three birthdays with hot tea, great food, and non-stop laughter. Looking around the table, almost everyone was about 10 to 15 years senior to me in life and career. In my day job, I’m constantly surrounded by spreadsheets, fast-moving M&A timelines, and founders racing against the clock. Everything feels urgent. Every conversation has an agenda. Yesterday was the exact opposite. As the stories started flowing across that table, a few things struck me: 👉 The career crises and high-stakes pressures that keep us awake at night? They’ve lived through every single one of them, weathered the cycles, and look back at them with a calm chuckle today. 👉 Not once did anyone bring up their designation, their net worth, or what deals they pulled off that week. 👉 The entire energy was just about sharing a genuine laugh, enjoying the food, and pulling each other’s leg with effortless warmth. When you sit with people who are just one chapter ahead of you in the book of life, it gives you an instant reality check. Ambition is great, but ambition without peace of mind is an empty scorecard. The real compound interest over the next 15 years isn't just what happens on your balance sheet—it’s staying healthy, laughing easily, and building friendships that have zero transactional intent. We built a community for the industry to share best practices. We built a team to codify these learnings into playbooks and templates. We built a research team to go out in the market and collect the data needed for leadership conversations and strategy. We built an expert analyst team to develop frameworks on the data to help leading companies deliver better partner experiences to the industry. This week, after working inside the world’s best partner programs for 18+ months, we announced the Modern Advisory Firm for Partnerships. We also announced free plugins with Anthropic and OpenAI to open source all of our data to the industry because we don’t want to gate keep our learnings. There’s a common theme through all of this. We’re working tirelessly on behalf of the Partnership Leaders around the world to elevate their organizations and recognise the impact we have on business around the world! This week, 1,000+ people came together at Catalyst. They shared what’s working. They challenged how partnerships are done. They made connections that will turn into new partnerships. And they left with ideas they can take back to their companies. Together, we built: - The home of enterprise partnerships. - The home of Chief Partner Officers. - The home of Frontier AI. But the work continues. Partner ecosystems are getting bigger and more complex. Every company is competing for the time, attention, and investment of its most important partners. Partner mindshare has never mattered more. Our job is to help companies earn it. To become the company partners want to build with, market with, sell with, and serve with. Now, we’re bringing the same intensity we put into building Catalyst to that mission. Thank you to the Nasdaq team for putting partnerships on one of the most important screens in business. It meant a lot to see it up there.
