(Distribute your core data and capabilities directly into major AI platform canvases like Claude and ChatGPT.) Right now, everyone is asking: Which strategy wins? Will users prefer operating inside specialized, domain-rich product UIs enhanced by AI? Or will they migrate to conversational AI operating systems that reach out to products via background tools and APIs? The honest answer? Nobody knows yet. At QuickBooks, we decided not to wait for the debate to settle—we are betting heavily on both. Intuit launched QuickBooks Workforce — an expansion that takes the payroll platform well beyond payroll processing. Onboarding, performance management, recruiting, benefits administration, HR workflows, and document management are being added to the same system where you already run payroll. The three tiers are now named Workforce Payroll, Workforce Premium, and Workforce Elite. And if you're evaluating payroll platforms for your growing business, this changes what's worth considering. The consolidation of payroll and HR into one platform — connected to your QuickBooks accounting — is a different conversation than it was six months ago. I wasn’t on the floor this year, but those who were brought back valuable insights from hours of conversations with attendees: -HR teams are done stitching together four or five different solutions to run their people operations. -They’re pumped when they see how QuickBooks Workforce connects people data and financial data in one platform. It’s their ticket to securing a seat at the strategic table, where HR belongs. -No one wants payroll or HR done fast and wrong. AI tools that can’t help avoid errors or keep humans in the loop don’t pull their weight. The standardization and performance testing of analysis tools is a prerequisite to widespread adoption of genome-wide sequencing, particularly in the clinic. However, performance testing is currently complicated by the paucity of standards and comparison metrics, as well as by the heterogeneity in sequencing platforms, applications and protocols. Here we present the genome comparison and analytic testing (GCAT) platform to facilitate development of performance metrics and comparisons of analysis tools across these metrics. Performance is reported through interactive visualizations of benchmark and performance testing data, with support for data slicing and filtering. A method and system are disclosed for providing a uniform multicast messaging service such that a brief message concerning a particular subject is simultaneously issued from a server to multiple clients. The message also includes a reference to further detailed information regarding the subject, e.g., in the form of a Uniform Ressource Locator (URL). The system includes a client (150) and server (110) component. A client application connects to the server (110) via TCP/IP and maintains the connection. An alert report administrator (112) issues an alert by sending an alert report message to the server. This message is then multicast simultaneously to all registered clients. In particular, the multicast and receipt of the messages is performed over the TCP/IP connection that was established during the initial registration. However, a connectionless transport protocol such as UDP is used. At the client (150), the alert report is processed to provide a notification on the user's PC display (170). The alert notification takes the form of a detailed report that is displayed to the user. That report includes a date/time stamp, a brief message subject, and a URL. If the user clicks on, or otherwise selects, the alert report, the client navigates the user's pre-existing web browser application (152) to the URL identified in the alert report message.
