Jason Grunberg posted thisBig day for me: I'm joining 1mind as Chief Marketing Officer. The technology is mind blowing. But it’s what 1mind is solving for that has me insanely excited about joining this company and why it is hyper scaling: predictable revenue is dead and the handoffs between marketing, SDRs, AEs, SolCons, IEs, CSMs, and Support destroy the buyer experience. 1mind is the foundation of the new GTM playbook. It's building GTM Superhumans — AI super-agents with a face, a voice, and deep product knowledge that show up across the entire buyer journey and actually move deals forward. Want more reps meeting quota? 1mind. Want to increase capacity while finding the right set of next hires? 1mind. Want to reinvent your GTM model? 1mind. The orchestration of this many agents to power a single conversation with a super agent is more advanced than anything I’ve seen in the past six months – a timeframe where my team and so many others have rebuilt entire technologies using Claude code. We're at the very beginning of this category, and 1mind is already working to redefine GTM with companies like HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Pipedrive, LinkedIn, Alteryx, Seismic, Cisco and more. Beyond excited to be with Amanda Kahlow, Marty Meyer, Bridget Shea, Katie Nocerino, Sachin Bhat, Sabina Mamedova, Devon Guinn, Liz Madsen, Devon McDermott 🪄✨, Cassie Young and all of the super minds at 1mind! 🚀 We are super humans building Superhumans!

Jason Grunberg shared thisI won the lottery over the past two weeks getting to spend time with Jill Dvorak at NRF Nexus AND then at the DC Citi Open yesterday alongside Jillian Gorman Villalobos. People are what drive partnerships and everything that I've been a part of with National Retail Federation always puts people first -- and truly, some of the best ones I've ever had the honor and pleasure of being able to call friends, not just colleagues. Thank you!

Jason Grunberg shared thisLast call to join me and Jenna Flateman Posner for the Agentic Commerce Collective on Thursday at 11am eastern. In this month's group discussion, we'll be dissecting two recent headlines: 1) WSJ's piece on AI videos taking over TikTok Shops -- is this good, bad, or are we indifferent? How does this impact influencer spend? Is there a line to be drawn? 2) CX Dive's article on how consumers prefer using third party AI (read: ChatGPT) over brand customer care chatbots. Should we follow the consumer's lead here or push for O&O experiences to be improved? Join the discussion with us: https://lnkd.in/edgQe3uE

Interested in finding out what your peers think about these topics and how their teams are approaching? Join us for the discussion.Jason Grunberg shared thisThe agentic commerce news cycle is moving fast. Are you keeping up? Jason Grunberg shared thisWhen I get asked about career path, I always point to being hungry for knowledge. I didn't know if it would all add up, but that wasn't the point. I've just always wanted to know more. If you're in commerce in any way shape or form this is a discussion to participate in. Galit Shani-Michel is brilliant and regardless of your function you're going to walk away having learned something that will likely spark ideas for what you do... even if it's not leading or working in payments. Join her here: https://lnkd.in/eePbfGQVJason Grunberg shared thisEarly in my career, I shifted all our French traffic in the gambling industry from one processor to another. I moved it to a French issuer, BNP Paribas. Overnight, the approval rate jumped 7 points. I remember thinking: this doesn't make sense. I assumed I was reading the data wrong. So I dug in. It turned out BNP Paribas is one of France's largest card issuers. They knew these consumers. They could approve far more than the acquirer I'd been using before, who didn't recognize them at all. That was the moment it hit me: a lot of what looks like a bank decline is really about the bank being scared, not having the context, not understanding identity. I think about that story a lot, because sometimes one small piece of insight about the payments ecosystem can unlock a lot of value. I think 3DS is one tool that a lot of payments leaders in the US are misunderstanding. They tend to fall into one of two camps: the first treat it like just a regulatory box to check, the way it's used in markets like Europe. The other camp goes the opposite way and massively overuses it, dumping everything they can into 3DS, and then their authorization rates take a hit without them ever realizing what's happening or why. Just like back when I worked in the gambling industry, issuers have a huge amount of influence over both the friction your customers feel and whether the transaction actually gets approved or declined. On August 4, I'm hosting a webinar to unpack exactly this: how 10 real issuers actually respond to 3DS in practice, based on years of data from enterprise merchants. Not theory. What's really happening when 3DS meets real issuer behavior, and why. Whether you think you've got 3DS figured out, or you know that you don't, join the session and let's talk about it. Jason Grunberg shared thisCompletely agree with Sky Canaves re: the DoorDash / Shopify partnership that will allow local, independent retailers to make products available via DoorDash Delivery: "However, Shopify merchants tend to live in more discretionary categories, like the kind of brands that thrive on Instagram, Canaves pointed out. “Consumers tend to come to DoorDash with a much more transactional or immediate need,” she said. Whether those two worlds can really meet in the middle remains to be seen." Excited for the potential here, but doubtful of the take rate and real revenue that'll be generated vis-a-vis the promotion cost. Full story in Retail Brew: https://lnkd.in/e388YCqa

Jason Grunberg shared thisIndustries should regulate themselves before people who don't understand start regulating. See this piece in PYMNTS today re: the recently drafted senate bill on AI agents and mandating that consumers should be able to use their own agents to engage with Amazon, Google, and others. Consumerism makes Capitalism work, but when we only operate with Capitalism in mind the consumer loses and then government gets engaged. https://lnkd.in/evd_zKAXSenate Bill Would Let Consumers Bring Their Own AI Agents to Amazon and Google | PYMNTS.comSenate Bill Would Let Consumers Bring Their Own AI Agents to Amazon and Google | PYMNTS.com

Great to see Adara - A RateGain Company and my former colleagues at Comcast Advertising pair up like this. Category-specific advertising solutions like this are critical, and no reason why travel advertisers shouldn't be able to measure TV spend against actual heads-in-beds.

As we near the end of the year, I’m thinking ahead to what’s coming next in the industry. My team just published our annual predictions on what’s next with marketing, AI, and consumer experiences. What we’re seeing is really interesting, so here are just a few. 👇 → AI is now an audience, tool, and channel. With 50% of Google searches featuring AI summaries (headed to 75%+ before 2028), websites must serve two audiences: human visitors and the AI gatekeeping brand discovery. It’s not enough for marketing teams to just use AI tools anymore. They should also be optimizing their content so AI systems can understand and surface it, or they risk 20-50% traffic declines on their sites. → Predictive analytics finally delivers on personalization. For years, personalization has been more of a promise than a reality. That's changing now that predictive models are reliable enough to move beyond basic demographics and into behavioral predictions that actually result in revenue. The power to know which customers will churn or who's ready to purchase will undoubtedly result in more precise personalization at scale and more dynamic digital experiences. → Agentic AI Needs a Testing Year AI agentic workflows are currently being implemented by teams to maximize productivity, but 2026 will be about learning what they're actually good at. The teams ahead of the curve will start with high-volume repetitive tasks, like report generation or competitive monitoring, before handing over more strategic work that needs human review. 🚀 Essentially, AI has fully made its mark, and my team is fully geared up to embrace it. We’re learning what’s working, what’s not, and sharing that knowledge across all our clients so that we win. What are you predicting for 2026? And, more importantly, how are you planning for it? See what else we’re forecasting: https://lnkd.in/esUaJW28 #PredictiveAnalytics #AIstrategy #MarketingTrends2026
