Andy Mowat reposted thisBeen working on this for a while, so super excited to see it out in the world. If you've ever worked in a legacy marketing automation platform, you know that unifying data from different sources is a pain. You end up creating separate fields for each source, then building glue workflows with fallback logic just to populate one record (source1.first_name, source2.first_name, source3.first_name). Over time you're left maintaining a graveyard of junk, outdated fields. With Inflection's Unified Mapping V2, you can add multiple sources to a single field and set resolution logic (priority waterfall or last one wins) to build a unified golden record, then sync it to your downstream systems. It also exposes all of Inflection's core entities (Contact, Product User, Org, Account, Opportunity) directly, making it super easy to map data across sources. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/ggHcwirs

Andy Mowat reposted thisAndy Mowat reposted this2 weeks ago, I attended a revenue exec dinner in SF and dogfooded my way into a demo using Centralize. I'm still thinking about it. Confession: I still feel pressure when walking into a room full of leaders I really want to talk to. I'm sure it's the same pressure a lot of reps and AEs feel before an important call or demo. That night, I fell into conversation with the head of revenue enablement at a 2K+ person company. I was glad I'd looked her up in Centralize beforehand. I saw she'd previously worked with one of our champions at Amplitude and one of our advisors at Docusign. Once I mentioned the connections, the conversation really opened up. We bonded for over 20 minutes, and it ended with "I'd love a demo" and a promise to set up time with her global seller productivity lead. That demo happened last Friday, and it was compelling enough that we're doing another with her SVP of Enterprise Sales and his team this week. These conversations don't happen without 2 things: 1) Doing your homework on relationships 2) Being in the room at in-person events like these So first, a big thanks to Sales Assembly for hosting such a great night. Second, shoutout to the friends - old and new - that made the vibes so great like Brad Rosen Dawn O'Rourke Rose Ayala Melanie Fellay 🐙 Joe Skupinsky Evan Horibe and Seth McGuire. And finally, moments like this are why I keep showing up in person. I get to experience exactly what we're building to help every rep do: walk into a conversation knowing the relationships that matter before saying hello. Centralize didn't have the conversation for me. It gave me the context to start the right one.

Andy Mowat reposted thisAndy Mowat reposted thisYou can now ask Claude to find your stalled deals, then unstick them. 3 ingredients: Bring context from your CRM, relationship data from The Swarm 🔆, and reasoning from Claude on top of it. This is one of the most creative ways I've seen someone use The Swarm 🔆 data. 🚀 It's been a place where a lot of people are just consuming the data, and that's where we see a lot of creativity too. People are asking really great questions on Claude. You can connect it with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Attio, whatever CRM you're running. So you can say, “Take my deals that I'm the account owner on, find the ones that have gone stuck or unresponsive over the last three months, then find someone in our network who might help me get those deals unstuck.” Claude pulls from both sides, the CRM and The Swarm, both using MCP. After a few minutes of crunching the data, you get some solid next steps.

Awesome to see some of the best CMOs Carilu Dietrich Tricia Gellman Katrina Wong Scott Morris, and then had the pleasure of speaking at Glean Go Conference about AI Transformation. The best part is how much emphasis on PEOPLE there was during and after the session, we need to continue prioritizing our teams amidst all the change and innovation happening. Andy Mowat reposted thisAndy Mowat reposted thisToday we're launching the single most convenient feature in Hyperbound for our wonderful admin teams. This isn't the flashiest feature, but I honestly think it's going to be the single most loved addition to the platform we drop this year. We are OBSESSED with making our users lives easier. Especially when managing several thousand seat Hyperbound deployments in a fast moving org. Back in 2025, some of our larger Hyperbound customers used to ask me questions like: "I have 500 bots, 35 learning modules, and 70 scorecards in my instance, our messaging changed, I need to update them ALL, HELP" OR "Kota's great at analyzing all 2000 of my reps and telling me their weaknesses, I wish I could just ask it to build a learning module for each rep based on what they struggle with" With Kota Actions you can do both! And you can do it from MCP, Slack, Teams and more. We've preloaded Kota with all the smarts of our best solutions engineering team members, you can ask it to take any action to manage your bots, scorecards or learning modules, and it'll handle it for you. So now when your CRO realizes reps are feature dumping, you can ask Kota to: → Add a new criterion across all 70 scorecards → Create 100 practice bots across different verticals and languages and emotional states → Review exactly what changed before anything goes live GA for all customers today!

Andy Mowat reposted thisAndy Mowat reposted thisOne of the main ways Scalestack has grown over the last couple of years is by connecting with thought leaders, builders, founders and executives...at events, dinners, roundtables and other live experiences. Our agentic infrastructure layer integrates deeply across our customers' data and tools, connects to their stack to help them build agents into, and so ...TRUST is very important, which is why a face-to-face, personal connection, ofter developed for the first time at these events is so key. But, but, but...not all events are equal 😅! Just like about everything, people put different variations of efforts into the success of events...or more/less sophistication in the audience curation, and the opportunity cost is high. Which is why over the past few months we have been relying on Andy Mowat's Whispered Events as an amazing, curated and community-selected "source of truth" for events worth attending...and this is even more important during "big" conference time! Check the Whispered Events page for #Dreamforce in the comments...and find our our own exclusive CRO dinner event on 9/14 (in partnership with Justin Shriber's Terret!).

Andy Mowat liked thisAndy Mowat liked thisChamath and Sacks spent the Salesforce segment of the latest All-In agreeing that the next phase of AI is context. Their case is good, so let me give it properly. Chamath: three phases. Models. Then harnesses and agents, the brain with eyes, hands and a keyboard. Then context. Phase three is starting now in the enterprises he works with, and the agent is capable and still insufficient until someone trains it into a job. Sacks: the systems of record survive and get more valuable. Agents are probabilistic. The thing underneath them has to just work. Benioff can afford to let Claude be the front end because the record stays. Where I agree: → The bottleneck moved from reasoning to context. A smarter model does not close the gap. → What sits under the agent has to be non-probabilistic. The agent guesses. The ground can't. → Build for the agent interface, not just the user interface. Giving up the front end is the right call. Where I don't: The plan isn't in the CRM. No motions, no ICP definition, no channel targets, no stage assumptions. A CRM records what happened and has nowhere to put what was supposed to happen. Ask "are we pacing" and there's no denominator anywhere in the stack. It lives in a spreadsheet and in one RevOps person's head. The definitions aren't either. A picklist value called SQL is not a definition of SQL. Two companies on identical Salesforce instances answer the same question differently. Authority is not accuracy. Duplicates, stale records, skipped stages, backdated closes. A CRM is authoritative about itself without being correct about itself. We measured that last one. Same question set, same model, same tools. <25% accuracy pointed at raw CRM, Call Recording and Billing. 99%+ with our context graph (Vasco) underneath. Systems of record survive. Sacks is right. They hold what happened. The plan, the definitions and everything after closed-won sit somewhere else. If you'd bet your quarter on an agent reasoning directly off your CRM today, I'd like to hear from you. I don't know anyone who would.

Andy Mowat liked thisI'm pumped to announce that Andy Mowat has joined Inflection.io as CMO! I've known Andy for a long time, going back to my previous company where he was a 2X customer of Bizible and has been a huge fan and advocate for Inflection along our journey. The role of the CMO is changing fast and I believe today's CMO has to be a master of 1) systems & AI and 2) brand. Andy's has these in spades. He has deep GTMOps experience and has build agents first hand as an entrepreneur building Whispered. When I first brought up the idea of Andy running marketing at Inflection, Andy said "but I'm not a CMO". My response was: both Gated & Whispered are two of the the best brand and positioning examples I've ever seen in an early stage company. Andy is both modest and a massive brand builder at the same time. Join me in welcoming Andy to the Inflection team, I couldn't be more excited!

Andy Mowat liked thisAndy Mowat liked thisLooking forward to going live in a week with my good friend and GTM powerhouse Guillaume Jacquet 💪 We’ll be breaking down what it actually takes to become an AI-native RevOps team. Not fancy 35 step n8n workflows, but the real work required to get your data in place so you can build AI that actually works. Here’s the secret: The agents and workflows are the easy part. You can ask Claude to build almost anything, and it’ll be ready in minutes. Getting your data to a place where you can actually trust what those agents are doing, and what they’re telling you...that's the hard part. We’ll walk through the whole thing and leave plenty of time for Q&A. Register here 👇 https://lnkd.in/g_6CZSTf

This is why #Salesforce and other enterprise tech vendors, especially those selling #AI products (like #Agentforce), are moving as much as they can to "consumption-based" licensing. And, this is why every enterprise needs to ensure they effectively negotiate with Salesforce and these enterprise tech vendors, ensure they have everything properly addressed to overcome the massive problems (upfront and down-stream cost exposure) that are tied to "consumption-based" licensing. These massive problems, by the way, are intentional, they help drive and accelerate revenue for these enterprise tech vendors, something their investors need to see. #negotiation #procurement https://lnkd.in/eZzjGhuf

The best products in the world aren’t built by EPD teams alone. They’re shaped by customer-facing teams (sales, success, support) who hear customer needs every day. The strongest companies create tight loops so those insights directly influence what gets built. Too often, that feedback stays fragmented in tickets, calls, or CRMs. But when it flows into product development, you get roadmaps aligned with real demand. That’s why we built Linear’s new Salesforce integration: keep your customer-facing teams in the tools they use most and turn every customer interaction into actionable product work.

Salesforce execs made a striking admission — Trust in AI declined throughout 2025! As one of AI's biggest champions, why is Salesforce raising concerns? In short, hype is giving way to realism. The future of AI is about governance, context, and accountability. Human oversight is still essential. Not as a backup, but as an integral part of the system! It starts with unpredictability. Confident answers can be wrong, and “AI drift” is real. When systems touch real customers and workflows, errors compound…fast. Salesforce realized that generative AI alone isn’t sufficient, and trust isn’t automatic. Especially when AI is making or influencing decisions, trust has to be designed, with the process emphasizing constraints, guardrails, and deterministic workflows. #ai #innovation #disruption #education #marketing #deeperlearning #humanity https://lnkd.in/gpkWQWAS

Don Bulmer is right, the Informatica acquisition is about containment, not innovation. It highlights a truth many enterprises face: AI isn’t a CRM or analytics problem. It’s a data problem. When you try to stitch together fragmented data through brittle integrations or by cobbling together aging technologies, it will never deliver the trust, speed, or the context AI needs. The future belongs to enterprises that treat data as a living, connected system — unified, interoperable, and real-time. At Reltio, we’re helping companies modernize their data unification capabilities to power real-time Context Intelligence — so AI, analytics, and operations all run on trusted, current, and connected data. For enterprises now facing more uncertainty, this is the time to step forward. The next generation of AI leaders will be built on unified data that’s open, intelligent, and ready for anything. You can’t build the future of AI on yesterday’s data foundations.

Salesforce was wrong. Not because AI can’t help, but because LLMs aren’t deterministic. If something must happen every time (send the survey, close the ticket, log the outcome), you don’t “hope the agent remembers.” That’s the lesson behind the fire 4,000 people, then regret it story: AI does work in production, but only with serious orchestration: rails, rules, evaluations, and human escalation for the long tail.
