No trial. No auth wall. No signup. Community Edition includes: ✅ Our entire image gallery ✅ Major and minor versions ✅ Hardened, minimal images ✅ FIPS, CIS, NIST SP 800-190, and STIG-compliant images ✅ Full SBOM and vulnerability visibility We believe secure container images should be easy to access, easy to adopt, and easy to evaluate. Developers can now use hardened container images without waiting for budget approval or enterprise contracts.

This is, legitimately, exciting. Why? At Twistlock and StackRox, we shipped container images to customers along with a container image vulnerability scanner. A top five customer support issue was always "Well, there's a new CVE in your image, what's your plan to address it?" One the one hand, this is a question everybody should be asking their vendors...but, on the other hand, it's a massive waste of time if the vulnerability should never have been there in the first place. Do you know what your package footprint looks like in your container images?Adam Clark shared thisMost teams don't actually know what's in their container images. Minimus includes a Package Count and Risk Comparison that shows you exactly how many packages are in your image, where they came from, and what vulnerabilities they're carrying. Ex: A standard Node image ships with over 500 packages. The Minimus equivalent runs on 15. That's a 97% reduction in packages and 100% fewer CVEs. Here's what happened: The attacker compromised credentials and was able to: ▪️Publish a malicious Trivy v0.69.4 release ▪️Force-push 76 out of 77 version tags in aquasecurity/trivy-action ▪️Replace 7 tags in aquasecurity/setup-trivy with malicious commits ▪️Distribute the poisoned version across GitHub, Docker Hub, ECR Public, GHCR, and more You may be at risk if you used: ⚠️ Trivy binary or container image v0.69.4 ⚠️ aquasecurity/trivy-action versions 0.0.1–0.34.2 ⚠️ aquasecurity/setup-trivy without version pinning If you ran a compromised version in your environment, you should rotate your credentials immediately. A couple announcements that really stood out to me and should bring real value to customers: Glean Tau brings enterprise context to local files, apps, and code, helping AI do more with less “botsitting.” And the economics matter too: 81% lower token costs and 78% preferred answers with Glean vs. Claude Cowork.

I’m interested in senior technology leadership roles where I can bring together technology strategy, transformation and customer engagement. That might be a Field CTO role, CTO/CIO leadership, technology strategy or transformation, or something similarly Ashley-shaped that I haven’t thought of yet. My background spans cloud, cybersecurity, software supply chain security, platforms and AI, but the common thread has increasingly been helping organisations work out what technology means for their business, and then turning that into something they can actually execute. If you’re building something interesting and think I might be useful, I’d love to talk. I’ll add a little more about what I bring in the comments.

Earning a spot in both President’s Club and Century Club is a proud career highlight, but the absolute best milestone this year was welcoming my baby girl into the world. I traded SKO for paternity leave - a trade I’d make a million times over. Hard to believe she turns 1 next month! Watching her grow while hitting these milestones has made this year an incredible ride. Being able to deliver top performance while staying fully present for my family says everything about the culture at Palo Alto Networks.
